So I just saw Slipknot live...

And they were amazing. I've been to Slayer shows and of course, Iced Earth shows. But Slipknot really gives it their all. I mean, Cory said he was fighting a cold and a bad throat. But he was still giving it his all and it didn't even sound like he was sick. One of the best shows I've been to. I could have done without Coheed and Cambria though. Damn their horrible. So any of you see Slipknot live?

Coheed and Cambria would have been my only reason for attending that show...Slipknot are too gimmickeeHybridPhoenix

They only wear masks out of tradition now. And let's be honest, a lot of their fans are teens who are into gimmick bands. If they took away the masks and jumpsuits, they wouldn't attract as many fans.

Wow, that's really surprising.

Considering 90% of Slipknot's fanbase is 13 and under - they wouldn't make any money otherwise.

I saw them back in 06. It was good but they had almost no energy on stage. I just saw 3 Inches of Blood, Decepticide, and Korupture and they have to be some of the most energetic musicians I've ever seen.
