Make sure you eat before hand, will absorb some of the alcohol.. And if a girl comes over, be yourself.. compliments are always welcome ;)

And if none approach.. don't be afraid to approach them.. It's what party's are for :P

best way to pick up chicks is to NOT drink and be in full control :) if a chick approaches you just talk to her, you have no reason to be nervous. Oh, not to be mean, but judging by your post, you need to get out of the house more and off gamespot, be more sociable :P

Just chill, be relaxed and be yourself. Most likely the girl approaching you is way more nervous than you are.

Well since you really dont drink, i would say just have a samll taste of whatever they are having and see if you like it. Keep well hydrated (drink a lot of water) to avoid a hangover, and if you feel like vomiting dont do it in front of the chicks

As for hooking up with the chicks there might be a catch: If there is a chick you like, just approach her and talk to her calmly (same if she approaches you). BUT if the chick that you approach or approaches you is DRUNK, you might need to be drunk as well. Not cool if you hook up with a chick that is drunk and you sober.

wow youre 20 and have never been to a party before? thats crazy. how fast you get drunk depends on how big you are.. if youre normal and its your first time, id say four 0,5 l beers is enough to get tipsy but still maintain controll (basically, itd just make you more fun and a little more daring). remember that if you mix drinks youll get even more drunk. if you eat candy and drink at the same time chances are youll throw up. try eating salt stuff. i also think its smart to drink as it makes it easier to approach chicks. theyll probably have drunk themself, so yeah.. being sober when everyone else are drunk really sucks.

Be socially aggressive, women like this and they see it as mating potential. Be sure to drink more than any male at the party, this is a sign of dominance and willingness to compete for resources in the scenario oftaking the female andco-habitating with her. Also, take every drug you can, this enhances your senses and makes you doesn't afraid of anything. If you feel your chances of attracting the female speicmen is under thread, be sure to take your T-shirt off and shout a lot, if the competition doesn't back down, use any physical force neccisary. This works. Hope this helps.

Always bring money and/or booze
-you would rather be known as that guy (the guy that brings beer/pitches in) than that guy (the mooch)

So how do i hook up with teh chicks? i have no experience at parties,

Just act normal...it is not like the movies
-it will only be weird if you make it weird

and since i never drank before, will i get drunk quickly?

YES

Drink slow...drink just enough to blend in while staying in control of yourself...don't want to go crazy and lose all control...especially if you have no basis to judge your tolerance

walk up to the most dominant male in the party, and tell him that his car is being towed. while he's gone try and hook up with whatever girl he was speaking to. when he comes back in tell him you were just goofing with him, and the women will find that interesting that you have a good sense of humor. the guy will shake your hand, and tell you that you got him good. then you will fit in with all the other alpha-males. at the very least you will not be the bashful guy standing in the corner with a warm can of beer. PS: don't drink right away. wait till most are tipsy that way if your a light weight you will get buzzed up when others are tipsy. this post is a meant to be funny, but honestly it just may help;) just have fun, and try to take interest in others.

You're gonna be sitting around standing around while chatting. Be sure to be located at the centre of the room and not beside or infront of a wall. Its harder for people to approach you that way, in the centre its much easier.

You don't have to make it a point to tell everyone at the party that it is your first party, don't get wasted, and don't stick to close to your 'pimp friend' and make yourself approachable and be respectful, don't not talk to anybody like you're not at a party.

go straight for the dimly-lit corner of whatever room you might find yourself in and then keep looking at your cellphone, simulating reading text messages or sending text messages while holding a stale beer in your other hand. As the general amount of intoxication rises amongst your peers, it's important that you take use of your peripheral vision to scan the flow of the room, so you won't be left behind when the party is over. If a chick approaches you asking you up for a dance, you should decline with the words; "nah sorry, i don't dance" (truth being you just suck at dancing, but this will make it come off as if you have no inadequacies in this field, you're simply just too good/cool to practice such a silly social ritual) and instead you should offer to keep an eye on her bag, drink or if she is holding a beer, hold it for her. If you at any point start feeling like the odd-one out, approach your friend and tell him the party sucks, and give him reasons as to why it sucks, again taking good use of the knowledge you have acquired when you scanned the room for several hours from the dimly-lit corner. He is your friend, so he is inclined to agree with you in order to avoid any awkward confrontations, and in return you will get validated that the party really does suck, and when it's finally over, you couldn't possibly have missed out on anything worthwhile, redeeming you of any potentially negative thoughts scurrying around your dome when your face hits that pillow at 2AM, replaying the events which took place that day. Now, it's important that you make this behaviour into a steady cycle, which you keep repeating whenever (if ever) you get invited to a party again. Sure, it's a gamble, given that this behaviour is commonly frowned upon, thus diminishing further inclination from your social circle to ever be invited again, but it is a worthwhile gamble. The frustration of apparently only attending sucky parties builds up, it is this energy that you need to tap into, and before you know of it, you will *read Bitter_Altmer's comment*

So true. When I go to a party to hit on girls, I get 1 bottle of beer and hold it for the entire night. Drunk + hitting on girls = fail. When I'm not interested in picking up women though, I just go all out and drink :P

Im sorry but I have to say that this is the dumbest interpretation of a party I have ever heard sitting in a dim corner like a psycho focused on your phone? what? Waiting for a girl to ask you to dance... when does this happen? also girls like confidence approach them to dance or talk....by your methodology, your a piece of furniture that holds her beer of purse while she goes and dances with someone else P.S. who dances these days? at any point you feel like the odd one out tell your friend the party sucks?...your the odd one out cause your sulking in the corner and you should be polite if your friend throws a party and invites you

The frustration of apparently only attending sucky parties builds up, it is this energy that you need to tap into, and before you know of it, you will *read Bitter_Altmer's comment*II_Seraphim_II

[QUOTE="Snakewiseman"][QUOTE="BiancaDK"]go straight for the dimly-lit corner of whatever room you might find yourself in and then keep looking at your cellphone, simulating reading text messages or sending text messages while holding a stale beer in your other hand. Don't expect your friend to keep you company the whole time. You won't be his only friend there and he'll have to socialize. Don't stick to him too hard, everyone needs their own space and you go to a party to meet new people. The problem is though that when people get drunk, they usually talk about other times they got drunk. When it comes to that, you won't have much to say. But whatever you do, don't talk about the latest game you bought or the last trip to visit your relatives. You'll just bore everyone.

Lol, my bad! I rarely look at poster's names so I just assume all posters are male, since 95% of the right, that would be the correct assumption :P But I will make a note to start looking at posters names from now on.

Just be yourself and relax and go with the flow of what everyone is doing. Talk to people and get to know them. It seems like its more of a hanging out / kick-back type party so do just that.

just don't drink too fast, getting drunk too quick never ends well (or does it ;)?) chicks might not approach you, and if they don't, maybe get your friend to go with you to a group of them, and just have a conversation, ask them their name, etc. it's usually not that hard to hook up with drunk girls, just make sure you're drunk also so it won't be "immoral" blah blah blah.

Drink but dont drink yourself drunk. You wanna be in control when you are talking to chick but dont be afraid to drink so confidence juice to loosen you up;) You dont get drunk easily for you first drink, it just depends on the person.
