To tell the truth, calling the police was the last thing I would've done. I would have went and tried to help, even if I would have been beaten up. Im actually pretty strong for my age and super fast from soccer since I play like 6 hours a day. Im currently 13 but I would still help the kid... I wonder why they beat him up?MangoLlamas
You know what would of happend. One of them would have played bait then once you went for him the rest of them would grab you from behind and pile on you.
Karma catches up. Once they are no longer juveniles they are no longer untouchable. They won't be fourteen forever, they will get caught disturbing the peace because belligerence is in their nature. Then the COPS won't hesitate to bust em up with their steel batons.
I see this crap all the damn time in my town is no big deal, just let it be or should've called the cops when you got home. If I were you I would get the hell out of there and just forget about it.
If I knew the guy well I would tell someone to call the cops and then jump in and hope for the best. If I just knew who the guy was, but not well I would again tell someone to call the cops but walk in there and draw attention away and run for my life. Or at least distract them and kill time till help arrived by hanging around. Of course a makeshift weapon would help, like a bat or a pole or seomthing. And no, I'm not pretending I'm going to take on 9 guys with one hand, I'm just saying I would've tried.
I think you did the right thing by running home. It sounded like you were pretty outnumbered. Maybe you should have had your mom call the cops when you got home, but I'm sure the older couple did as soon as they got the chance. No need to feel guilty.
