None. Don't do it...he is going to end up kicking you in the balls, sucker punching you and beating the **** out of you...If he was a metal head it would be worse
for the record i hate 99% of rap alot, but i dont mind Cypress hill(there older stuff), necro,BK, Mos Def, and JMT. If you wanna get a rock guy into rap idd say avoid the gangster/dance rap and go for the intelectual rap(well thats what i call it).
Why do you have to stick to a certain kind of music? As long as you like what you hear, it doesn't matter which genre it belongs in. Oh, and good luck trying to get someone to abandon melody for recycled sampling.
I don't get all this criticism. If you like Hip-Hop it doesn't mean you can't like Rock or Metal and vice-versa. This guy asked for some suggestions of good Hip-Hop, if he or his friend want to expand their musical horizons that's great. But for people to come in and try to stop him from discovering a genre that they don't even know is downright sad. And some people have the nerve to say he can listen to what he wants. Hypocritical much?
Why would he denie somuch other genres just because he likes rock ? You're not going to convince him since he will ridicule Hip-hop listeners for having baggy pants etc. Because there is no flaw in the rock community ofcours.
