It's one thing to not what to share your wealth but to not care at all is something else. O.oIf anyone asked me, I'd say that I care. But when it comes time to actually do something about it, my money is staying with me, not going to some ghetto to fuel a 20 year old woman's drug addiction.
I am very disappointed in the majority of you. You will live and you will die, but no one will likely ever care to remember any of you for being anything more than Mommy or Daddy. How do you feel about that, you sub-human SOB's?smegburt
Not my problem, man. I'll be dead, it's not like I'm going to be able to look back and really appreciate that people are remembering me. As long as I lived a full life with plenty of money, I don't really care.

Obama isn't a Communist, and neither is the TC. I agree with the TC.
Go learn what a Communist is.

Explain to me how it's intelligent to give your money out to less fortunate people? I didn't get hand outs for my money, why should they? If you live in America you have just as much of a chance to get to the top as anyone else. You don't need pity money for that. If you work hard and you're determined, you can make lots of money, doesn't matter how poor you are when you start out.

It's one thing to not what to share your wealth but to not care at all is something else. O.oAmerica is meant to be capitalist. You're only responsiblity should be provinding for you and your family. If someone else can provide for themselves, thats terrific, but if they can't, the government shouldn't make me provide for them.
Many people can't let go of their selfishness. Why even live in a society at all? Go live off on an island and count your money.efruchtThat actually sounds like a great idea. I'd rather live on an island and count money that I earned from my years of schooling and hard work than share it with people who claim they are "less fortunate" (AKA lazy and unmotivated)

Selfishness is wanting other people's money for yourself in exchange for nothing.....
Like I said, go count your money on your island, while we all extend our hands to help out our brothers. I would gladly give a percentage of my income to the poor, and I have. Then again, my mindset is inspired partially by a burning dedication to help out my fellow man, something that many Americans seem to have lost.

Yes, you have some lazy ones, but no lazier than the rich kid who rides through life on his inheritance. The majority of them are not lazy, just victims of bad luck. We all have bad days, some never recover from them. It's time we changed that.
please, you hardly hear any wealthy ppl complaning.
i know i'm going to get taxed but itz no biggie for me. i'll still be paid and i don't mind helping out my fellow country men. itz greed and selfishness that made the economy the way it is today.....or did we forget that already. or maybe theres other reasons for not voting......hmmm.

Life isn't fair...but how you deal with your particular situation defines who you ultimately become. Are you going to depend on others who you can't always trust? Or do you only depend on yourself, have pride in yourself, and make a bad situation better?
Sometimes the easy way out, isn't always the best way out.

It is human nature to be greedy. Everything in this world is motivated by greed at some level. Think about...really think about it. People are going to be greedy, you can't fight human nature.please, you hardly hear any wealthy ppl complaning.

In order for me to earn money, I have to help out someone else.....I don't know if you've ever heard of this little thing called "Capitalism", but it's what our economic system was based off of, or at least used to be.....

Exactly. Greed is a constant. Everyone is "greedy". Everyone is "selfish". That's why Capitalism works the best. You have to help out your fellow man if you want to advance yourself.
Get off your moral high horses people. It's perfectly fine to not want to help out the poor, considering it's pretty much like tossing your money down a well.
They aren't going to do anything with my money but buy drugs and guns to kill eachother with. I'll keep my money, thank you very much.
Those drive by shootings you hear about, random muggings, it's all the poor doing that. What good do they do for our country? Push the homeless underground, clean up the ghettos and fill them with quality homes for people who actually make money. If the homeless try to do something, jail them.
It's not that hard, and this will make America a cleaner, happier, more family friendly place.

I fail to see how a tax plan is considered "spreading the wealth", people clearly don't know what taxes are for.. ANd don't realize a vast minority of the budget is for welfare. The taxe breaks are there to stabalize the people hit hardest with the economy, while taxing the people who are not.. In the end its for the good of the country if the floundering classes are given breaks to stabalize seeing as they are the working base as well as the majority of consumers. Trickle down effect hasn't worked what so ever I believe this to be the next rationale step.

greed is sin and it has proven to always carry bad luck. a line has to be drawn somewhere, if not then you will get what you have today. you can still become wealthy with dedication and focus but you will go nowhere if the system is broken. giving a little back to help repair whats broken will actually make me feel like a better person. i'm positive many feel the same way, this is a great country and you can not enjoy life when everyone else around you is suffering. what type of person will that make me if i did?

If this were true, with the amount of wealth wielded by the elite CEOs, we wouldn't have poverty.. But we do.

We are becoming a country that never takes responsibility for what happens to them. I didn't create this crisis we are in...so why should I have to put extra money into it.I understand what you are saying about helping your fellow man, but all i want is for us to be able to do that ourselves. Not coerced by the government. Let me write the check to the charity of my choice.

The government already wrote your check to big business in the form of a $700 billion dollar bail out, that both McCain and Obama voted for. Furthermore places like AIG collapsed due to greed driven stratagies.

do you know that most of those drive buy shootings, muggings, robberies are because of having no money. c'mon, why else will they be doing this. every man wants to take care of themselves and their families, itz unfortunate that some have to resort to criminal tactics just so they can eat. the prisons are filled with minorities who committed crimes, most of these crimes were to obtain money.
I will continue to ignore the 3 rotating bums that stand just off the Florida Turnpike regardless of who is president.
They're an interesting bunch though. One is a one-legged hobo with crutches. He has a sign that says "I need a leg up =)"
Another is a really really fat guy. So fat that I don't think he can take his shoes off his feet. He hobbles about dragging one of his massive fatty legs.
The other one is a veteran of some sort (so he claims with his sign). His sign says "help a down, humiliated, veteran =)" or something like that. Two of the 3 bums really like smiley faces. This one has a mullet too!
Who knows, maybe I will give them some money. When Obama pries it from my hands with his "taxes."
