[QUOTE="cheesyjon"]Not without the Joker, and i hope to god they dont try that. Id like to see maybe the Riddler but i cant see him filling a whole 2.5 hours of just him so maybe Bane as well. Nolan developed a friendship with Ledger before he did what he did and has already said he has no interest in making a movie with Joker in it.Harley Quinn, I want to see.
Wolls
Its a shame they tossed out my two favorite Batman villains (Two-Face, Scarecrow) I really wish they would bring back Scarecrow but that is definitely not happening. I really think the villian will be Black Mask. Black Mask was supposed to be in Batman Begins but Nolan felt like their were to many villains in the movie already. I can guarantee he will be the next villian. As much as I like Black Mask, I would like to see the Riddler more. There are tons of ideas that Nolan can do with the Riddler, I mean the Joker started "who is Batman" and also "can he be corrupted," its only logical that The Riddler continue the questions.
[QUOTE="JML897"]If there's any truth whatsoever to the rumors of Joseph Gordon-Levitt as The Riddler, I really want to see that. There are a couple other actors who would probably be a better fit than JGL but he'd work really well. chessmaster1989
I really can't see him working well for that role...
Heath Ledger anyone? Remember all the crap he got at first for being the Joker? I mean before TDK could you imagine the guy from Brokeback Mountain as a crazy clown?Joseph has so much in common with Heath, they even look alike. The guy has a ton of potential and It is obvious that Nolan has his eye on him. I really hope he gets chosen if there is a Riddler.

Who says they tossed out Scarecrow.. He was caught.. So was the Joker.. That doesn't some how mean they are done with.. Its a shame really.. I honestly hope they do not go back to the other villians.. Villians like the Riddler.. Oh no.. A egotiscal maniac that does ridiculous things JUST like the Joker but isn't as creepy or amusing? I mean the entire Dark Knight movie had Batman doing a scavenger hunt to solve it before it happened.. That is more or less what the Riddler does..

They tossed The Scarecrow because he had a big role in the first movie yet his screen time and "parts" were very short and small. I really hated his role in TDK, it was very pointless. And Nolan wont go back to any villains, there's just to many choices. I recommend you checking out the comic book versions of The Riddler and not so much the animated series. I really like what The Riddler is suppose to represent (or at least what I think) and that is, "Why?"[QUOTE="sSubZerOo"]

The one characteristic he most likely will be attributed with is "he sure as hell wasn't the Joker"..

Except Heath Ledger was a much better actor (and this is coming from someone who didn't think TDK was that great)...
In any case if there's The Riddler, I hope Nolan goes with someone else. Never really been impressed by JGL.

Johnny Depp would be my vote for the Riddler, if we MUST have him..

The Joker had no drive, or motive. The Riddler does. The Joker is play by ear. The Riddler takes his time and meticulous. The Joker wanted to take down The Batman and show Batman that Gotham is just like he is, a savage. The Riddler wants to control Gotham and show the people his supiority while bringing the realism to Batman of, "Is what your doing worth it," "what have they done for you?"Very different imo.
However, like i said earlier, i can almost gaurentee that the villain will be Black Mask.

JGL rocks. I dont care what you say! Hmmph![QUOTE="cheesyjon"]Hmmm I wonder who they will cast as HQ? Someone sexy, yet hot, and adorable, and sinister as hell.Harley Quinn, I want to see.
Elian2530
I don't see how Harley Quinn would work, seeing as she plays as the hopelessly obsessed sidekick and love to the Joker.. A character that can't come back due to Ledger's unfortunate death.

I know. One can dream. The impossible dream!theres going to be 2 villians like batman begins and the dark knight. so I say bane and the riddler. catwoman if they can get a 3rd to work.
I would also like to see her, along with Poison Ivy or Mr. Freeze.Harley Quinn, I want to see.

There are lots of rumors of having Johnny Depp as the Riddler or the Mad Hatter (after Alice)
dercoo
I doubt the Mad Hatter or the Black Mask will make it into it as the primary villian.. These are at best side villians that are hardly known.. Hell I didn't even know about either one of these guys intil Batman AA.. Depp would make a good Riddler though.. And the fact he is a amazing actor..

I agree, I don't want Mad Hatter as a villain as there are better ones. This is just a rumor that popped up after Alice in Wonder Land.
I actually hope Depp does play the Riddler. He is one of the few actors that could bring a presence that could meet or top Heth's Joker.

Sounds like a good choice to me.
I think Mad Hatter will be very twisted. However, his wardrobe and flamboyancy may be too close to Heath Ledger's Joker. Also, Dergoo made a great point. Johney Depp has the screen presence. The general public loves him. Look at the Pirates movies. Even though the last two were bad IMO people still flocked to them. And he's one heck of an actor to boot. (I think this is the first time i've used the expression...)
