so i was watching this trailer.. what a terrible, cheesy, girly movie i have seen. especially compare it to some badass movies like Riddick. lot of people complain about hitman movie trailer was terrible. i agree it has nothing to do with games but as an action movie it looks great and probably much better than this stupid girly cinderella.

Well, that's a bad trailer but if that is the worst you have ever seen then you haven't seen much.

What sorcery is this? A Disney movie, a Cinderella movie in fact, girly and completely devoid of badassery? Utterly shocking!

what if cinderella is badass. she would not cry for magic tales. instead kicking ass like Agent 47 do.

I usually don't judge by the trailer itself. Personally by the time I hear about a movie, I know I will instantly see it or ignore it but very rarely will a trailer grab my attention/dissuade me from seeing it.

Why Disney insists on turning animated classics into live action is beyond me. I won't see this film since I know it will be the same as before. I mean come on, it's obvious. Woman doesn't do anything, fairy godmother comes out of nowhere, woman wants to go to the prom dance, woman does go to the dance, meets prince for like five minutes and instantly wants to have his babies, she leaves but personality is dumb but looks are more important, prince goes around trying to match slippers not realizing that women can have the same size but no, and bam the sisters commit suicide and the woman goes with the man and gets married even though they don't know each other, and the woman didn't have to do a GODDAMN THING.

**** it, I want to see a live action Mulan. Same story but she kicks Mongolian ass.

Cinderella probably doesn't need the Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters treatment.

What did you expect from a Cinderalla trailer? It's cinderalla, there's little you can add to the story. It will probably do decent at the boxoffice.

It has a 100% with 6 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes as of right now. I'm kind of surprised right now.

Yes but 50 shades of grey had 100% with the same number of reviews at one time as well (26% now). To few reviews to have anywhere close to a decent consensus. However it seems like the type of movie that reviewers will be somewhat positive towards. But I could be wrong. It's one of those films that could lean either way.

Very true. Still too early to tell especially from past movies who has a similar start, but from what I've seen, movies with a similar start tend to stay in the 90s or high 80s. Most of the times.

Remember Disney's Maleficent though. It's a remake of a Disney classic and it did phenomenal. I don't think Cinderella will do quite as well but there is certainly a market for these movies.
