...do you think you would have liked it more if you didn't read the graphic novel and just viewed it as a film not film adaption?

I wouldn't have been as disappointed as I was but I don't think I would have thought it was a better film. Infact, if I hadn't read the graphic novel prior to watching the movie I reckon I would have been totally lost :P The film is kind of a structural mess.

Not really. I never read the graphic novel and I really enjoyed the film. It was a little confusing, but the ending made sense of everything.

The pacing would have still been really off to me. And Richard Nixon's NOSE...good Lord, his NOSE.

I think oveall the novel is better, its hard to translate that much material into a book but the movie did what it could well. Though, i prefer the way Adrian killed the people in the movie to the way it is in the novel, makes more sense. But the ending in the novel is better...leaves you with something.

Overall i liked the film more than the graphic novel, plus i thought the ending of the film made more sense rather than the one in the graphical novel.

Am I the only one who thought the ending in the movie made more sense? Anyway, I loved them both.

I think I would have liked it even less, since the film's pacing is all over the place and a lot of the time I had to go by my knowledge of the book to follow it properly. Either way, it's a bad film IMO.

The graphic novel is better, but I still liked the movie enough even though it had its faults.
