So today was my last day of high school, What i thought about H.S

I just hate the feeling of being controlled and high school is all about that. No this no that, must be on time or detention blah blah. There were even certain days where you can't wear jeans, its called dress for success or some crap. Although everything was free the classes, tests, homeworks, projects, and doing group projects was hell. Waking up 5am on a rainy monday mourning was beyond hell, it goes into the realm of satan. I'd always get detention for being late cause of the bus, the teachers are like yeeeaaahhhhhh......wake up earlier. To top this all off i wasn't the most popular kid i'd just goto the school come home do my hw. What you guys think?

I loved my senior year too. Since I got all of my unnecessary classes out of the way. I basically got to be in band all day.

Man this was an awesome year.

I've been to both private and public. Right now I go to an all boys Catholic high school, and I can tell you that it is VERY different from public. Not just the no girls part, but acedemically and athletically. In fact, we were just named one of the best by SI. I'd tell you where, but then I'd have to kill you. ;)cpo335

Wow, getting up at 5 AM is pretty harsh, I always got up at like 7:10 or on some days 7:20 (shower, get dressed, eat, drive for three minutes) And I've been doen for two weeks and I'm so glad I'm done with Phy Ed because I don't like running laps like a dog and then playing some dumb game and taknig orders from someone who stands there and watches all day, but hey I'm done with PE and only two more years ahead.

And what do you think is going to happen when you get a job?

You're going to have to abide by a dress code
You're going to have to get to work on time (I get up at 5:30am 6 days a week)
You complain about detentions for school, but when you're late to work they'll dock your pay. You know, that stuff you need to feed yourself and keep a roof over your head?
You're going to have to do projects and work with other people
You're going to have deadlines for said projects that you'll have to work within or face losing your job
Most workplaces won't care about how popular you were in school or how popular you think you are now. You'll go to work, come home and then do it all again tomorrow.

I think you need to grow up now, before reality slaps you in the face.

I'm going into High School after summer break. I think I'll do good there, though. My biggest problem will probably be that the schedule and different lunches will seperate me from a lot of my friends.

I enjoyed High School, I had plenty of friends that Im gonna miss, I played two varsity sports, and I did well in class.

Im hoping college is just as good.
