I'm in law school for my final year, and have to support that by working in a clothes store. I hate it with a passion but it pays mah bills. :P I've recently decided i'd quite like to get into journalism however, so that's always an option.

Hows about you, OT?

I'm currently employed as a security guard... but am going to be returning to university as late as September 2011 to continue on my path to becoming a professor of religious studies. I've got about 5-7 years left, depending on how quickly I can manage to go through an Honours-upgrade to my undergrad, my Masters and my Doctorate program.

someone must really love school =/Jandurin

Tell me about it. Ask me a couple years ago if I would see myself going through another 5-7 years of university and I would have laughed at you and walked away. But now I'm a different person... and find the idea of constant intellectual challenge (always needing to come up with something good to stay relevant to the academic community) and the constant learning (something I do very well) is what is right for me. Plus, I want to teach... but I don't want to teach the basics to kids, I want to teach adults who are actually interested in learning about things I love.

The government of Canada looks quite well on people willing to go through that much school... and even offers grants to students to cover not only tuition, but living expenses throughout the time they are in grad school. Plus, once I get tenure, I'm set for life. Though, I'm doing this because its my passion, not because the job pays relatively averagely.

I hear the undergrad degree is becoming so common now, that only people with Masters get the really nice jobs.

A waitress/usher at a rather weird higher end Asian restaurant that mimics the more odd themed places you (supposedly) can find in Japan. It's not bad work, I like my co-workers, and I get free lunch and dinner, so I'm saving a fair amount of money thanks to that. Beyond that however, I have no idea what I want to do. I still have time to decide what my actual career will be, but all I get is a headache trying to figure it out...

Most first-time customers don't. They just kind of stutter and try to figure out a polite way to reply. It's actually a good method of telling if someone's a prude.

HR manager............. basically I get paid to post on gamespot and occasionally do worthwhile stuff... though, I have to annoy people to get stuff done and be like a hawk on their productivity.. at least I don't have to fire people.. that would look weird though, a 22 year old firing a 40 year old :s.
