My friend got it. He lived.
Then I caught it from him. I died.

I remember all the mothers I know all looking at me weird because I didn't get the shot for me and my kid. I was like...You do know it's just a flu right? Some people had this flu and didn't even know it. It's all the medias fault for making it an 'epidemic' Oh lets make allergies an epidemic! Or or headaches! funkadelichika
"Just the flu" actually kills a lot of people.

Yes it does. But so do many other things. I guess I just wasn't into all the fear mongering there was over it. It was pretty bad in my city. Mothers were freaking over it, business's here all put in these 'sanitisers' at the front of their stores for customers. It was far too much fear among the general pop considering the majority of the people who did get it were fine and lived.[QUOTE="funkadelichika"]I remember all the mothers I know all looking at me weird because I didn't get the shot for me and my kid. I've never taken a flu shot an I'm completely fine. When I get the flu I take care of myself and stay away from stuff that will worsen it. I leave it all to my Immune System. Only people who are either poor or illiterate with poor immune systems die from that stuff. People die all the time, it's a natural thing.News stopped hyping it and causing mass hysteria, so people forgot about it. I don't think most of the population figured out it was less deadly than the regular FLU, and that it was just another "hyped super virus!" like mad cow, bird flu, etc.
Michael Jackson died, which then caused all the media parasites to swarm over the topic leaving the supposedly one of the most dangerous pandemics alone in the dark.
I really didnt expect it to get to bad even though they said it would explode. Its like they tried to make it look like it was going to be this generations Bubonic Plague. But all in all, its a good thing that they freak out and do EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to avoid it spreading, because the overactions are what kept it from exploding.
so would you of been happier if millions had die. just so it lived up to its hype. maybe the media coverage raised awareness and made people take more care with there hygiene. It was blown out of proportion, just like Bird Flu and SARS. Now no one cares anymore. Thank you very much, media.
