Is this a thread to stick it to Americans? It's much easier for Europeans to visit other countries as it only requires an automobile. Travel between countries is much like travel between states. For the US it's a bit trickier due to size and cost. I've been to Honduras and Canada though.....as well as various islands like St Thomas etc.

Most of the continental USA, Italy, Ireland, England, Spain... I think that's it. I feel like I'm forgetting something. Vatican City, that's kind of another country. :P EDIT: Costa Rica! How could I forget that... Was my favorite of all. Oh yeah, and Canada. Felt a lot like America.

Why do you accuse him of trolling? It's true. Most Americans don't even own a passport.

Country hopping isn't as easy when you're a few thousand miles away. State hopping can vary enough to seem like country hopping, though...

The last time I was there it was a complete accident. I missed the last freeway exit on the way to a concert and then had to funnel into Mexico. It took me two hours to get back into the US. Thank God that was before you needed a passport to get back in otherwise I'd probably still be posting from Mexico if I didn't get a Colombian necktie by now. :P

Traveling from state to state is very much similar from traveling from small country to smal country in Europe.

~40 states in the U.S. and 2 provinces in Canada. I haven't traveled too much, though I've certainly liked what I've seen so far, but I'd very much like to see more of the world in the near future. There are many countries in which I have great interest.

It really is true and part of what's so great about the US. Every state is very different as are the people and culture.

I've been to most U.S. states including Hawaii except Alaska. I've been to Canada as well.

In Europe I've been to Spain, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Germany and Austria as an adult. Just about every country as an infant.

I've also been to Australia and New Zealand.

In about two months I'm going to France and other parts of northern Europe.
