Traveling from state to state is very much similar from traveling from small country to smal country in Europe. How do you know?[QUOTE="campzor"]Europeans are the luckiest...because they can pretty much roadtrip to other countries whereas us Australians cant..and Americans can only go to mexico/canadaPirate700
You said you haven't been to Europe...Japan

I have been to Europe and can tell you it is the same. Europe can fit completely inside the lower 48 states. If you take Europe from the Ural Mountains in Russia to the Portugal coast, it would fit entirely within North America.
Canada (where I live), US and Mexico. I am going to Ireland and Scotland this summer, but there are many other places I want to go.
Damn it Gamespot, I type up a long damn post and you give me "message can not be left blank or have whitespace"

Of the last 22 airports I have been through in the the last 3 years, I have only paid to go through about 4 of them. Those were the airports in the UK and Milwaukee. All the ones from Amsterdam through Shreveport were paid by the companies that contracted for me for work. Ubisoft paid for my trip to Germany.

You guys are far more well traveled than I would have thought...My instinctual reaction is suspicion. :/

No, I won an email contest to go preview GRAW for PC and interview the CEO of GRIN who was developing that version of the game. They sent me to Games Convention 2005 in Leipzig.
I actually work for an engineering firm. I am not an engineer though I work with them on occasion, I am an NDT technician. I inspect whatever needs inspecting in the areas I am trained in. I make a joke about my job. I work in small spaces looking for cracks.

Being a military brat and being in the military myself, I have traveled quite a bit while I was a kid. I lived for 3 years in Japan and spent 2 years stationed on Okinawa where I took a vacation in the Philippines and went on an exercise in South Korea. While there, a bunch of us took a trip to Panmunjom to visit the MACV compound. While there, we were allowed to cross the DMZ into North Korea.
I told Chaos about my trip to Germany and my job. As it is quite difficult to transport a boiler to the company I work for, I have to travel to that location. Same with the vessels I inspect at oil refineries or paper plants.

How do you find the time? Unless you're all alot older than I'd assume.

Any state between NY and CA along I-90 and I-80, between CA and FL along I-10, and finally..... between AZ and MO along I-40. That's easier than naming them all. Add ID, WA and OR.
Been to America once when i was a kid. Disneyland was so much friggen fun!!! And Las Vegas is amazing when it's all lit up at night. I'd love to go back sometime since now im old enough to go in all the clubs and stuff :D

Yeah, its not the same. Different langagues, different cultures, different history. There are similarities but distance between countries doesn't mean much.
