Why was there hymns though, its not a church service :/emperorzhang66:lol: What? Of course it was a church service.
I'd rather play Superman 64 with 1 fps than to watch a royal wedding... All that money for something as stupid as a wedding. They could have used the money for something more important.trastamad03The Royal Wedding has actually created a bump in British GDP from tourism and travel over the last few weeks. Hardly wasted.
Some Royal Wedding in england?
LOL...
I always laughed at ppl from England.. (srry xD)
But... Royal, kings and other stuff... is a bit of... a medieval...
And making big show out of it is pretty ridicolous...
Many more important things happend in the world...
"Sir, you may kiss my Royal A.... *cough*"
No one bit of it, not a care in the world honestly. Not that I have anything against all the publicity of it, each to their own.jasopan
The wedding, watched by over 2 billion people worldwide.

I watched 5 minutes of them leaving the room, seeing a couple of army helicopters fly over my house yesterday was the best part though. I hope William does his country proud tonight ;)

and the irony is that america is just as hyped for the wedding as much as the UK is.
I stayed up til 3:00am to watch it, got an hour of sleep, and sprinted to class.
But it was worth it to see such a beautiful wedding. (although I kept telling the choir to stop singing so much:x)
And Kate looked stunning.
I love it when people say they were forced to watch something because their parents watched it or some other BS excuse like that. So you only have 1 tv in the house? you have no friends you could go hang out with? no handheld gaming system? don't play sports? don't go outside period?
You were "forced" to watch that wedding about as much as I am "forced" to kiss my GF. Face it, you wanted to watch it and now you're making excuses. Then you're going to go to school/work and "complain" about how you had to watch it to the guys.
to be perfectly honest I don't think many people watched it live, maybe not by lack of interest but by the unconventional time (for us) I mean it was on a 3am where I live I think most people were asleep, they've been playing highlight clips all morning thoughI love it when people say they were forced to watch something because their parents watched it or some other BS excuse like that. And children are still dying of hunger and diseases in third world countries while England gets tourist to celebrate 2 people getting married,Japan is also still in shambles, etc.
Ya, it's a waste.

There will always be inequality. There will always be poverty. There will always be children that at some point go hungry. Why is it a waste when it has attracted the attention of billions of people, making millions happy?

It's a waste cause those billions of people are happy, but that's it. Congrats they created a happy memory. Nothing changed in their life. I'm not saying they shouldn't be happy, I mean, congrats to the newly weds and all, but honestly, was all that extra crap REALLY necessary. And you're just using happiness as a reason why it's not a waste? Give a poor family 5$ even and they'll be MUCH happier than what the billions of people attending a wedding. Now imagine how much more happier they would be if things happened to their village that changes their lives for the better. Again, don't get me wrong, I'm truly happy for them, congrats on the wedding and everything, but cut back on the extra garbage and use the money something better and hey who knows, might give him a better reputation for helping out those who need it.The Royal Wedding has actually created a bump in British GDP from tourism and travel over the last few weeks.
