..and they tell you after extensive testing, you have the HIV virus.
What do you do next?

give a couple of girls a call. After that I would liquify my money and inject myself to make it go away.

I'd be like 'why the hell are you calling me out of the blue to tell me this? Actually, when did I even have a blood test?'
Then I'd probably cry a bit.
Then make an appointment to discuss possible treatments.

dirty syringes in movie theater seats.....
jk, not really. ill take retroviral meds and keep on keepin on. more progress is being made with the diseas everyday, we are getting close to a vaccine and maybe even a cure.
Hang up the phone and continue on with life... it's probably a prank call, seeing as I never had any testing.
Honestly, it is not a big deal. With proper treatment, you can live a full life with HIV. I would MUCH rather have HIV than cancer. It doesnt seem like HIV is really all that bad now a days. Not saying it can't be a horrible disease, but it seems like they have found a good way of controlling it's dangers. TonyDanzaFan
HIV carries a far worse social stigma than cancer

are you saying you would rather have a worse disease to avoid society viewing you in a bad light?[QUOTE="TonyDanzaFan"]Honestly, it is not a big deal. So? Who cares about what people think. Cancer kills even the wealthiest, most powerful people in the world. Look at Steve Jobs. If you have the money to buy for expensive doctors and treatment, HIV won't kill you. Magic Johnson has had HIV for almost twenty years. Sticks and stones may break my bones, but cancer will kill you more often than HIV. This isn't the 80s-90s, HIV is not a death sentence.[QUOTE="blackacidevil96"][QUOTE="TonyDanzaFan"]Honestly, it is not a big deal. With proper treatment, you can live a full life with HIV. To be quite honest, I would politly ask him what my options are, including what the best medication combo is and how long my survival rate is.
