I live in Denmark, but I think it sounds sexier to say my weight in stone, and I have far too many friends in the UK xD
[QUOTE="LosDaddie"]i never make new years resolutions because i never keep them :P but i've started working out again anyway, because i realize i need to be a bit healthier.Yeah, I'm overweight right now. But I have a good excuse: A 5mo old daughter
My New Years Resolution is to lose 20-30 lbs before I head to NY in June.

 Yeah, I never make New Years Resolutions either....and for the same reason.
But this is a bit different. I used to work-out regularly before I became a father. I just literally have not had the time to work-out since my baby was born. Add to that the sleep deprivation from caring for the baby, and my butt has gotten FAT :? .....
I've convinced my wife to "allow" me the time to work-out after work once 2009 hits though. Gosh....I'm going to be even more tired now.
[QUOTE="Felix-Legions"]because muscle weighs more than fatcell_dwellerMuscle does not weigh more than fat, any more than lead weighs more than feathers. A pound is a pound is a pound. Where the misunderstanding often comes in is that muscle is much more dense than fat, so that, by volume, it seems to weigh more. That is, a pound of muscle occupies less space than a pound of fat. Fat is lighter then Muscle.... You need more fat on a scale to weigh a pound then you do muscle.
The day after cross country, I was 5'7 and 124 lbs making me 19.42.
Right now, I'm 5'7 and 135 lbs, my current BMI is 21.14. Not sure if its either fat or muscle, I've been eating lots and working out lots.
BMI of 19.93
I'm 5 feet 9 in, 135 lb. Nearly no fat on me, but I'm not skinny enough so you can see my ribs or something.I guess I'm OK, but everyone tells me I should work out (I have nearly no muscle, but again I'm not a skinny guy with pencil arms).
why bother when GS works out my fingers?

Maybe if you talked to one of the admins and said people keep calling you a drug addict or something like that they would let you change it. If that's possible.

I recall one user here getting a name change...Who was it?
It was a mod, I believe it was skilightpegion or something like that. I thought he was referring to me.[QUOTE="stupid4"]I know a kid who is 6'4 120 lbs. SpidersRMeIs he dead? I know a guy like that too. Someone hit him lightly in the head and he spent 3 days in the hospital. The unbelievable thing he plays basketball! It's like a suicide attempt man...he's like a stick!

is that sort of hairsplitting really necessary? You know what they meant, and it seems like youre trying to make the quoted poster feel like a nincompoop.
Anyway, youre right about the whole density/weight thing though lol.
I have a BMI which is a pretty damn high. I also have a lot of muscle mass, and while I am extremely overweight (almost 6'3'' and 350 pounds), the doctors say even if I were to get down to a modest 15% body fat I'd still weigh 260 pounds lol. Its a combination of things....large and dense bone structure, a good amount of muscle mass.
But ya, I am a fatass. No way around it.
