Ok, so I woke up today and had to check what exactly went down here on this site last evening. Yes I was stoned when writing this topic, however I dont change my views, however due to being stoned I guess I didn't exactly express my thoughts as articulately as possible. I think we are as a worldwide society are becoming more and more fake, more unreal. And for this I hope someday soon the world ends. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

We aren't becoming any more fake. In fact social pressure is weakening.

My world is fine. I still wear the same old jeans and shirt at home and casual-look clothing at work. My kids still listen to me and I do my share of chores at home. I suppose we can have a sophisticated lifestyle. But, why? We like to keep things simple.

The 80's sucked. Nothing but hair metal and country on the radio, had to rely on mixed tapes from friends for new tunes. Some of the girls fashions were hot (miniskirts, leg warmers and hair bows) but most of it sucked ass. Wood-grain was in on everything (car dash, TV, stereo) there was nothing offensive on TV, and we had that lady come into class twice a month to tell us communism sucks because this sandpaper toilet paper is what Russians have to wipe their asses with, if they even get that.

Things didn't start looking up until about 93-94. The mid-90's are were it's at.:cool:
