Soooo should I...?

I'll try and make this short.

Okay, there is this girl from last year that I really like. I never got a chance to talk to her last year, kind of long story that doesn't matter. Anyways: I've been seeing her again this year (not much -- just in the morning) and I when I was talking to my friend about this, he said I should just tell her how I feel. I said "wouldn't she be weirded out? We're strangers." He keeps telling me all this stuff trying to get me to do it.

I mean, I'd do it, but is that weird? Or no? I mean, dating IS getting to know another person, but...

Anyways. He's brought up some good points:

1. I barely see her anyways, so if she says no, it wouldn't matter...because I don't really see her.

2. She's really nice (I've talked to her before), so she won't be a ***** about it.

3. If I wait any longer, I'll lose my chance...

Should I just...do it?

Also--If you think so, let me know what I should say, or how I can approach her, etc. When I'm around her I can't think straight. :? Oh, and she's always with a couple friends, too. :?He told me some things that are pretty good, I just want some more opinions.

PS: Please no 'touch her shoulder's. :P

its only weird if you make it weird. just go up to her and say hi and whats up and so on. with that being said, just dont go up to her and tell her every feeling you have for her. that would be weird. start slow and gradually talk to her on a daily basis. and if you know her friends mention that you like her to them and they will for sure relay the message to that chick you like. good luck bro.:)

I guess just go up to her and tell her you've noticed her a few mornings and think she is attractive and you thought you'd come say hey (or something like that). Try and have a good conversation and if things go well, talk to her a few more mornings, then after a few days, ask if she'd like to hang out outside of school some time.

Im in a situation somewhat similar to you, but she likes me, and I hate some of her friends so I don't like hanging out with them. I cant stomach admitting that I like her back, and even worse, asking her out.

Just react politely but treat her nicely and she may reconsider.

Dude "watching" sounds like you have been stalking her wouldn't use that word. i usually say this and it works 90% of time

Hey, I know this is going to sound a bit forward but are you free one night this week for us to go out to dinner or to a movie with me, get to know each other a little better see where it goes."

"Hey..I just wanted to say that I think you're really pretty, and wondered if you wanted to maybe..go out..sometime?"

That is pretty much the standard invitation. If she says no, be cool, but don't attempt to be friends, or **** just gets awkward. It's pretty much the same line used over and over and over with minor variations. God, I hate dating.
