I don't know what he was doing it for. Maybe he is just insane. I see no reason to immediately assume he was doing it for religious reasons. Why make a jump in logic and assume a 40 year old white male was trying to bomb new york because of south park?
And this a private website, which can censor you all they want. However gamestop cannot tell me what I can or cannot say off their website. There are consequences to saying certain things in real life. There should be no consequence for making fun of someones religion, and people should not back down and say "Sorry! We'll leave you alone because violent extremists are scary!". Thats the exact opposite of what should be done. Giving into the demands of possible terrorists is a very bad idea.
Freedom of speech is not "Say what you want but if I don't like it, it's free game to murder people." and we should never strive to make it that way. America would be a pretty crappy place if we were under the holy laws of religions that we don't follow.

I'm not saying freedom of speech is bad or anything, I'm not saying there should be a consequence for making fun of someone's religion, but regardless of what people think there is one. People handle it differently and extremist handle it the worst (obviously or they won't be extremist), again it's easy to say people should back down when you aren't the one going to be bombed for it. Also it's not a matter of following the holy laws of islam, it's a matter of respect, and while extremist take things down a really stupid road, the creators of south park should have been inclined to leave this subject alone, especially with what's happening these days. I am by no means exempting islam from being made fun of what I am saying is that if you are going to do it, prepare yourself for the backlash.
