[QUOTE="chessmaster1989"]Haven't seen the new one. The first two Tobey Maguire Spiderman movies were pretty good, but not because of Tobey Maguire. Willem Dafoe is a f*cking boss.layton2012
I think that is something we can all agree on, I wouldn't mind him being recasted for TAS2, which I'm assuming Green Goblin will appear in, since Emma Stone only signed for two movies, I'm assuming Gwen Stacy will die in the sequel :(

Thinking I'm going to go see Amazing Spider Man tomorrow night actually.

And if Willem Dafoe shows up in TAS2 I will be happy. :D

With Emma Stone it could just be she wants flexibility to renegotiate the contract depending on the success of the first two movies.

I hope so, because Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy was IMO the best decision made in TAS, and that coming from someone who enjoyed more than everyone but Spiderman 2, so the more Gwen Stacy the better, but I also want them to stay true to the comics and eventually kill her off by the end of the trilogy. :(

I doubt that. If they wanted her for three and she wouldn't sign....I'd bet they'd have hired someone else.

I agree with this, though I still have hope, I'm betting they will cast a Mary Jane for the third film.

The original. I like the characters better, I like Sam Raimi better, they reminded me of the original comics more than the new one, the movie(s) were just more fun. Oh yeah, and there is Jameeeessss Francooooo, sooooo hot. Not even close.

[QUOTE="LiftedHeadshot"]amazing spiderman because I prefer Garfield's "kid"spiderman over tobey mcguire's "35 year old in highschool" spidermanNikalai_88

Tobey Maguire was actually younger than Andrew Garfield at the time of the release.

And Andrew Garfield really looks old. I don't get the people who say he looks young, to me he looks realllllyyyy old. Tobey played the role of an awkward teenager PERFECTLY. I lovvvvveeddddd Tobey's Pete. I will say I don't like Dunst because she is hideous to look at (Maggie Ghelenahahalallalllllyylylyll) but she was really good as MJ.

I like the original spiderman better. I don't know the other spiderman can have "amazing" in his name when he has to make his own webs. SuperKaio-ken
I dont usually say this when referring to movies, but in your case, read the comics. Peter crafted his own webs in the comics.

The way you wrote the first two sentences make you come off as a fanboy of Raimis films, they were good, the second was great, and IMO tobey was the weakest aspect of the first trilogy, and how could you completely disregard the best part of TAS, Emma Stone was a amazing Gwen Stacy.

The original for the first two, especially the second on which is still one of the best superheros movie of all time. Plus Kristen Dunst > Emma Stone.

Spiderman movies are the worst of all Marvel movies. Even X-Men Origins: Wolverine is better than any of the Spiderman flicks.

Spiderman The Animated Series on Netflix > any Spiderman movie.

CarnivaleClown
That show is really crappy compared to spectacular spiderman. 90s spidey couldnt punch people. Plus cops had laser guns

you kids have no idea what a good spidey is

tobey is crap garfield is crap as well

neither raimi or the idiot who directed amazing knows a thing about spider man canon

everyone knows the first villain spidey fought was the chameleon not green goblin or lizard and his girlfriend was betty not gwen or mary jane.

the best spidey representation is this one

The Amazing Spiderman was such a good movie. Really made the first 3 look horrible. There are some things I like about the original, but honestly I never liked them that much.

I liked the original Spiderman more to be honest. The Amazing Spiderman wasn't that bad, but it didn't really fell that much of a Spiderman movie. The movie was more about Peter X Gwen than about the actual Spiderman and the villain.

In the original one, they only showed little scenes with peter x Mary and focussed a lot more on Spiderman and the villain.

Also, Green Goblin >>>> that lame Lizard character

Well duh. Green Goblin is most likely spideys most iconic villain, so comparing him to the Lizard is pretty unfair. I'm assuming the GG was not in this film because he needs to be in TAS2 or 3 to kill Gwen Stacy.
