Who would win? i think iron man..:D

Spiderman, seeing as how he has the speed and stamina to take out Firelord, Iron Man would be cake. Well.... Iron Man's suit is sentient and might be able to predict Spidey's moves.
Iron Man would easily win. Spider-Man is a local superhero. He really isn't that strong in comparison any of the global super heroes (i.e. The X-Men, The Incredible Hulk). And this is putting both of their popularities aside. Spider-Man is more endearing sure, but there's a reason nobody is ever like "where's Spider-Man??" in a global conflict.

True, and it was totally rad [spoiler]They went up against each other in Civil War 5, though Spider-Man was just trying to get away, since Stark had a buttload of other assets to throw at him; Spidey did bust out successfully, though.xaosPasscode... Surprise!

So? Firelord is more powerful than Spider-Man as was explicitly stated. He beat him in a fit of blind rage, Firelord was toying with him the entire fight and when he finally cornered him, he wasn't expecting it. Barring any sort of underestimation on either person's part, Iron Man would win. That victory was nothing more than a fluke, and isn't a good example of Spider-Man's actual strength.[QUOTE="LikeHaterade"][QUOTE="frostybanana"]

If he was fighting anyone who's not close to his power one on one, he'd win. And Iron Man has similar things built into his suit. If his spider sense coupled with his agility were that overpowered, he would never get hit at all. And he gets hit ALL the time. When he's fighting someone as strong as Iron Man, all it would take is a couple of hits because Spider-Man has no endurance.Uhh, Spiderman defeated Firelord dude.

Spiderman's main enemies are people with strength around his level. Green Goblin, Venom, Scorpion, Rhino. He gets hit a lot by those guys if he's caught. That means he can take hits with that much force behind them.frostybanana
That said, Iron Man's got a bunch of suits, though...and probably knowledge of how to suppress Spiderman's powers from SHIELD. It's also possible that Spiderman has knowledge about Iron Man's suits and ways to disable them.

Yeah, I mean, those are local supervillains though. Personally I think Iron Man would take him out because he's a global superhero. I guess the argument could be made for Spider-Man, but I really doubt he could actually fight someone like Iron Man. It'd be a lot easier if we were talking about The Hulk vs Spider-Man :PI'll pick Spidey. I don't think he'll ever run out of ammo or means of moving around.

Spidey frequently has to refuel web canisters, and ironmans repulsor thingy in his chest is always giving him juice.

I don't recall that actually, but if it did happen, that's pretty impressive. But the Hulk is unstoppable. Especially when he becomes as smart as Bruce Banner. In fact, the best fight I've seen is Sentry vs The Hulk. That was AWESOME lol.

I think it was during an annual. Spider-Man alluded to it in a fight with Kraven and the second Vulture. He punches Kraven. Spider-Man: "That WHUMP was the WHUMP that staggered the Hulk. Get the message?" *Kraven falls down* Spider-Man: "He got the message."Depends on which Spiderman and which Iron Man. Iron Man has been taken out by arrows but sometimes he seems 'Superman' strong. Spiderman's strenght varies a lot, too.
Also, Venom has destroyed Iron Man without breaking a sweat so Spiderman should be able to put up a good fight.
I'll say Spiderman. Speed > Strenght
Spiderman is smarter. Intelligence plays a huge roll in fighting.psychobrewYou're kidding right? I mean I'm not saying that Spidey wouldn't win, but Tony Stark is WAY more intelligent. WAY more. Like Reed Richards smart.
