As a TRUE fan of Star Wars, I love them all. Those that complain about how the Original was better and that the Prequels sucked becasue of *insert reason here* are the EXACT same people who read the expanded universe ****. Seriously, read any of teh books after Jedi, they actually derail the whole saga pretty fast. 20 yaesr after Endor, there THOUSNADS of Jedi/Sith running around, Cat people (introduced by weebo authors) and the Vong (don't get me started on the Vong).
Anyway, if I were to pick only 2, it would be III and VI.
no no no... there are no ties between old and new star wars movies.. lol. The new star wars movies were good, but I know its a curse word to say otherwise on the OT.[QUOTE="LadyCroft3"]Which is your favorite movie in the series? For me, it's a tie between episode 6 and episode 3.PcGamingRig
The Empire Strikes Back ( Episode V ) is by far, without question, undeniably LEAGUES ahead of anything else in the franchise. To even entertain the idea of comparing it to the other films would be offensive.
With that said, i am more than just a little bit upset with Lucas and the entire franchise at the moment. Not happy about The Complete Saga not getting a new transfer for the BD release, not happy about no original version and i am not happy about all the bloat they stuck into that package just so they could ask a stupid price for it.
No new 4k transfer + no original versions + 40 hours of special features where roughly 90% of them have been available in some other form for years = a 139.99 list price?
Yeah what the **** ever. There is no excuse for the SW saga to be anything short of the most feature rich, technically vast BD release to date. Someone needs to be kicked in the face for what we are getting.
Edit : I forgot to mention that all of them will probably be DNR'd to hell and if the 2004 master is of any indication will look slightly better than a DVD.
For me its V,VI,III,IV,II,I
The first four that I listed are classic, but the other two are still very good. I mean, Episode one had a very cool looking villain, and arguably the best Jedi battle, and Episode two had the first Yoda battle, people were clapping in the audience when they saw that, it is probably the biggest shock of the franchise other than Darth Vader saying that he was Luke's father.
