wrestling is pre-determined, that doesnt meanthey don't screw up sometimes ConManWithGunyou stole the words right out of my mouth
LMAO!! Some people are STILL saying wrestling is fake.
Wrestlings matches are pre determined. The rest of the match is improvised. Their are certain parts of wrestling that are done by script.
Slams are bumps, you get money for taking bumps.
The thing that im trying to say is that in my other topic, the people were saying accidents never happen or they are attached to strings or something stupid.
Accidents do happen, everything hurts except the punches and kicks. I have a book called "Have a nice day : a tale of blood and sweatsocks" by Mick Foley, a professional wrestler and he says wrestlings matches are pre detirmined, he says the rest is improvised, but bumps are in the script.
Chairs, tables, ladders, barbed wire, lighttubes, glass, staples, mouse traps, fire, they are all real!
I would like to see a normal person get a mouse trap snapped on their tounge and still countinue with the match.
Here is a list of the injuries Mick Foley, the most injured man in wrestling has:
Eight Concussions
Two-thirds of ear ripped off
Four front teeth knocked out
Broken Cheekbone
Sperated Right Shoulder
Second degree burns on arm and shoulder
Two herinated discs
Bone chips in elbow
Broken right wrist
TORN ABDOMINAL - OUCH!!!!!
Torn Meniscus
Nose broken twice
Broken Jaw
Dislocated left shoulder
Fiftyfour stiches on left arm
Fractured left shoulder
Broken left thumb
Five broken ribs - ow...
Bruised Kidney
Broken toe
THOUSAND of thumbtack holes
And all over his body, Over 325 stiches.
DANG I had to type that from his book!
Face it, this man is tough. Professional wrestlers are more tough then then you can possibly imagine. Except stupid wrestlers like "Cryme Tyme" that don't even take bumps.
[QUOTE="LostProphetFLCL"][QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"]Eh....it's fake.LJS9502_basicI hope your not suggesting his neck breaking is fake..... Wrestling is a as fake as movies. The injuries usually aren't fake. That is definitely real. Every so often someone get SERIOUSLY injured like that man did, and not just a minor injury. Yes, sometimes injuries are part of the script, but that is as real as they come right there.

Everyone who uses the word "fake" to describe wrestling are clearly only looking at the "soap opera" side of the card. Professional Wrestling is not fake, it is pre-dertimined and choerographed, and a number of moves are executed as to cause minimum pain whilst looking impressive and painful. Other moves are just painful and damaging, end of story. The "Sports Entirtainment" part of wrestling, meaning the WWE's "storylines", or whatever, are scipted and badly acted, for sure, and bash those all you like, but bash the writers, who decided to write a sitcom rather then a realistic wrestling feud. Leave the actual wrestling out of it, it's actually a very dangerous and suprisingly real sport.Amen! I would love to see the bashers go out and try to last a match!!!
