Stop making SAW movies!!!!! who thinks they should stop

I assume people find it embarrassing to rant about a less than relevant matter like how many Saw movies are being made. You don't want to leave the impression that you put more thought/energy into hating something than you really have.

I think most of this hate for Saw is due to a misconception that it is meant to be a mainstream horror film. It is not, it falls into the category of torture porn, that is why it has a cult following and the majority of people dislike it. The films are fantastic but people will not look past it's use of gore and amount to see how good a story lies beneath. Now I won't even bother getting into the argument of the amount, because it is not too many at all, seeming as though the sixth Harry Potter film has just been released I find it annoying people target Saw for it's amount when it has an intricate story within what it is well known for (gore).

I don't understand why Saw receives so much hate. I love the series. People that have actually seen all 6 of the films and understand what is going on, know that the Saw movies incorporate a very in depth and thought out storyline. I am continually impressed with each Saw film that is released. Saw VI was awesome. Vuurk

Exactly. I know a lot of people call it "torture porn" or "gore porn" but I would argue that it is being sterotyped as that. I watch because of the story and the twists. To the topic though, yes they should stop. I say this because I hate how much it's being milked. It pains me as a fan.

i love these movies, i don't want them to stop(well maybe at 10, because that would be pushing it). After watching the sixth i really want to watch the seventh! i also thought that the sixth had a better, more topical, lesson(or meaning). Bring it on Saw VII:twisted:

Only the first Saw was good, now they are just bad. I can't take them seriously, the plot in the series is so ridiculous and they have lost all atmosphere and mystery that the original had.

The second Saw movie was my absolute favorite. I loved the needle pit. The fourth and fifth ones were the worst IMO. The sixth one was really good though. It brought a lot of information in as to why everything happened. like the note amanda reads in the third one. 6 showed what it said... It was better than I expected, and they only have a contract to make seven of the movies. xXjordanXx

I think the series is getting so involved in it's own stupid and ridiculous plot it forgot about the atmosphere and mystery. The first one was a really good stand alone thriller, it left something to the imagination and it had great atmosphere. The sequels ruin that.
