the one I heard was that blue light is scattered most easily, but violet is scattered too easily so it just reflects into space.
it's a vacuum so no moving molecules to create heat?If hot air rises, why is space so cold?

If you're expecting the unexpected than that means you're expecting something you wouldn't expect to happen but you don't know exactly what that will be so you still don't expect that in particular.
