Explain to her that, for men, the Super Bowl fulfills needs that even women can not fulfill.

Why don't you record it, hang out with her during the day, then watch it by yourself at night?

Edit: Even if you don't do that, are you not willing to miss this one game for her?

Fortier

Sacrilege! :o

Oh great football gods, please spare this one, he did not mean it!

Getting some action while watching the Super Bowl has to be the manliest thing in the entire world.

If this is a "serious" relationship you should be able to miss out on a game for her. I would like to think that people hold their relationships in higher regard than sports that can be recorded and viewed at a later time. And yes, I am a male.foxhound_fox

Maybe for a game, but this isn't just a game. It's the ****ing Super Bowl. :| If anything, his girlfriend should be recorded and viewed at a later time. :|

Just call her up, have her come over to watch it with you...maybe sit back, relax...and have a nice evening together...

As a girl I can tell you that I fully respect, and understand the need to watch "The Big Game" without being bothered. If my boyfriend wanted to watch the Stanley Cup playoffs or something like that, that I am not interested in, I would find something else to amuse myself for that time. Now, I am a huge football/baseball fan myself, and will be firmly glued to my sofa on Sunday cursing like a drunken sailor at the TV. So, maybe I am not the best one to give advice on the subject.

That's quite the predicament. I guess I'd ask her to watch the game alone with you, just that one night. You could even make it up to her next weekend if she wanted to go to a party or something. Who are you rooting for btw?Cube_of_MooN

I swear, this man reads my mind and steals my thoughts....
