Hmm, what a strict review. I personally enjoyed the whole movie, despite that you found the special effects to be 'mediocre'. I enjoyed the story quite a bit as well as the chase scene. I mean it is a fictional movie, therefore it's a bit weird that you're going to complain how some of the stuff is not believable or fake for a science fiction movie.
