I doubt there are many guys here that fit either of those descriptions. Most of us (I'm assuming here) are not tough on the outside, but not overly sensitive either.

women prefer men that make them FEEL a certain way. There is no set in stone caterogry which they prefer. why is it so hard to understand that women do not care as much about looks if you can make them feel a certain way???
I'm not a woman. But from being a guy myself. I think both are pretty lame. "GARRR IM SO TOUGH GET ME A DRINK ***** GARRR BUT ILL CRY IF YOU CHEAT ON ME! GARRR!!!", or, "GARRR!!! I CAN RELATE TO YOU SO MUCH! BUT IM ONLY ACTING LIKE THIS TO HAVE SEX WITH YOU!". In the end, people who are neither are better, because they're not fakes. Tough guys are fakes, thus, they aren't tough at all, they're ********. Nice guys are as well. People that don't pretend they're nicer/tougher than they are, however, are not, they're the real deal. Every time I see some dumb ass kid hanging out at AM/PM(Gas station), acting all bad ass, "LOLZ IM GONNA KICK YO ARSE DUDE!" I want to 3 guys to get out of a van and rob the place and watch him crap his pants. If you're going to act like a tough guy, stab someone in the face, then you've earned the right, otherwise, shut up. People that fight in wars and get shot in the face are tough guys, people that go, "DUDE IM GONNA KICK YOUR ARSE DONT BE TALKIN' **** BOUT' ME!" are idiots.
Sensitive guys can be happier than the tough guys. It really kills a person to keep shoving everything below, to keep screwing people over and telling yourself they don't matter, to let your life go to nothing telling yourself that's all it was anyway. And if you're good at it, it makes you attractive as hell. However, it also means you're crazy. Being sensitive and embracing things you can't escape is probably the better way to live, even with consideration to girls, as they're not so stupid as to always go for guys who are total jerks and sensitive guys can be attractive too. The thing is, you need kind of a balance I guess.
Individual women prefer what they as individuals prefer. Some prefer the beefy strong-man, others prefer the introverted nerds. As a male, you have to find the female who is interested in what you have to offer.

Well, I'm sure that girls have some idea of what guys find attractive in girls. Why wouldn't it work the other way around?
