Why is it too bad?Hopefully she will rest in peace and her dad will be in jail for the rest of her life.
Too bad this story will be twisted into another reason why religion should go away.

I'm literally disgusted, i hope this guy burns in hell or where-ever he believes evil people burn in,
A Fitting End for him would be death by flamethrower
[QUOTE="imaps3fanboy"]No news here.. Religion influences people to do things like this all the time.paratheosSome crazy people think that fathers would still kill their daughters for sh*t like this even without religion.
Of course people would still do bad things without religion, but as often as people do in a world plagued with religious zealots? I think that's highly questionable...
If religion being to blame is entirely out of the question, like most of the pus*ies here think, then please explain why stories like this pop up so damn frequently? The fact is when otherwise normal people are brainwashed into a religion and terrorized with threats of eternal suffering they are prone to doing crazy things, what's so hard to understand about that?
inb4 religion is the source of all evil.Shottayouth13-I doubt you'll find anyone saying that. Humans are always the source, religion is just the tool.
That's the spirit! It's good to know that the 15th century way of life is still alive and kickin'!

As a muslim myself, I muat tell you you're wrong. Under no conditions is a Muslim woman permitted to marry anyone but a Muslim man. The same verse cited above (2:221) mentions, "Nor marry your girls to unbelievers until they believe. A man slave who believes is better than an unbeliever...." No exception is given for women to marry Jews and Christians, so the law stands that she may only marry a believing (Muslim) man. As head of the household, the husband provides leadership for the family. A Muslim woman does not follow the leadership of someone who does not share her faith and values.[QUOTE="nedim100"][QUOTE="Zaibach"]These instances are less to do with religion and more yto do with Family pride and honour BS.Another light from this world snuffed out for no good reason, effn zealouts man,RIP Swera, hopefully youre in a more tolerant place :(DevilMightCry

I never said it was ok to kill her. Murder, especially of muslims is a sin. The problem is with us muslim, that incorporate islam as law, not faith. Like Sharia, which is what this nut used as an excuse for his behavior and anger.[QUOTE="nedim100"][QUOTE="Zaibach"]These instances are less to do with religion and more yto do with Family pride and honour BS.Another light from this world snuffed out for no good reason, effn zealouts man,RIP Swera, hopefully youre in a more tolerant place :(DevilMightCry

If she was ignorant of the ruling then she is excused, but they must be separated. The punishment for adultery is death.
