Why would anyone not pick tasered? Between June 2001 and June 2007, there were at least 245 cases of deaths of subjects soon after having been shocked using Tasers (wikipedia).

And it's definitely not good for those with heart problems.

Well I don't know? Experience a painful shock that lasts a split second, have painful spray in my eyes for a few minutes, or lose the ability to walk properly for the rest of my life?

Try reading everything, or at least the sentence right after "The fact that a death occurred following use of a taser does not necessarily indicate the taser was the cause of death or even a contributing factor"

My point is that someone with heart problems would probably not pick "tasering" out of those 3 options.

I was pepper sprayed in the military, it hurts but I imagine that the taser would be worse.

I choose getting shot, because it makes you look like less of a wuss ;)

I own a taser, and have been tasered... Its not a pleasant feeling. You pretty much lose all control of the area of your body being tasered and your muscles spasm like crazy causing some intense pain, but I've never felt any long term pain from it lol. Me and my friends tasered each other one night when we were all drunk.
