Wow that was pretty bad. He may not have been a terrorist, but he is now, because I'm sure that teacher is terrified that he might lose his job. :P
Maybe he just meant he was menacing. Bad move, these days you have to find a synonym. Don't say terrorist, say menace. Especially when the person you are refering to fits a stereotype.
That's just how screwed up this world is. If the kid would have replied with " Hellz yeah, I gots me some bombs and teh masteh planz to kills the America." purely to be an ass since the teacher is being an ass the kid would have probably been arrested. Everyone is held hostage because of the prejudice and the gullibility of others. No matter what ethnicity you descend from.
No wonder the world can't fight wars. Too many cry babys. No wonder people believe everything they hear as if lying and cheating don't exist, as if deception is impossible. People are gullible morons. As if they believe they know what everyone else in thinking. As if they can evalute a person and know that person simply by the things they don't say. As if nobody ever says something off the wall merely to aggravate or antagonize someone, or a group of people.
Maybe most people do babble out every thought that comes to mind. Maybe they do share every opinion they have instead of using tact. Maybe they don't have any secrets. Maybe they just rome around instead of trying to outwit other people. It seems like it, because they act like mind games don't exist.
The beauty of gullibility and mind games is.. nobody actually knows what you think, know nor intend to do. Aside from the evident and obvious, they only know what you claim.
It doesn't matter what anyone says, because anything you can think of anyone else can do. They don't need tell you. That's how you manipulate or antagonize people. You tell them what they want to hear or don't want to hear. You know the expression keep your friends close and your enemys even closer? It basically means people are easy to decieve. It's better to hide amongst your enemy than to present yourself and declare yourself an enemy. So none of us really know who our enemys are, because they are not going to tell us. That would defeat the purpose of befriending us.
Society is still playing checkers when we need to being playing Chess. It's not even checkers, it's more like marbles or jax.
That comment was uncalled for and just stupid. While recently, most terrorists are muslims, most muslims are not terrorists. That is very unfair to generalize this gentleman as a terrorist.sonicare
I'm sure it wasn't purpose. He probably wasn't thinking. You have to be careful what you say. Terrorist is flamable words these days.
I was refered to as a terrorist and a menace by my teachers. Among other things. It was no big deal back then.
Atleast the teacher didn't pull out a walkie talkie and relay "CHARLIE TEAM, WE GOT TANGOS!! INITIATE GULF DELTA WHISKEY FOXTROT!!" seconds before the door exploded with a tac bursting in while exclaiming "GET DOWN, YOU TERRORIST SCUM!! YOU GOIN DOWN BOY!! YOU GOOOINNN DOOOWWWNNN SON."
When you attempt to use threatening gestures to frighten or intimidate others you are trying to harness fear to get your way. That's what bullys do. It's menacing, it's terrorism. Terror as in fear. Terrrorizing as in the action, process or atempt to terrorize or intimidate others. Terrorist as in someone who uses intimidation or hostility to opress, manipulate or control others. Terrorism as in the practice of using terror.
So when you start chucking chairs around or become threatening or do anything else that suggests or favors malicous or hostile intent you are using terrorism to achieve leverage.
