Yeah these were the type of statistics I was expecting. These statistics might have many factors. How much of it is true to racial profiling? What about the idea that blacks get harsher prison sentences on average for the same crime a white person commits? Maybe it's the environment of where they live? Maybe it's the shrinking middle class and there are more poorer people then ever? Maybe it's the high unemployment rates of this country? I can go on and on.

But the only conclusion you drew was the bolded. Your basic idea is blacks are violent. As I said, I am black. According to you, because of that I am supposed to be more violent then a white person just because of my skin. I have been in one fight in my life when I was in 4th grade. I do not appreciate someone saying ignorant comments like I am more prone to violence. I don't like to throw the word racist around and I think people use it for too many things. I don't think your racist. Your view points are open to scrutiny though, and as I said before, share your views with some of the black friends you have and they might not view as such as nice guy and be cool with you.

That would be ironic to someone that automatically thinks that they would attack him. I don't share in that thought. I've dealt with racism before and dealing with it with violence is stupid. If I had a friend share with me thoughts like that, they wouldn't be my friend anymore and move on. I don't need to attack anyone.

No, you specifically said he would lock his doors to his house if he saw a black person walking by. He DID NOT say this. He said only in a certain AREA would he take precautions.

That guy did extremely well for not retaliating. I'm more angry at the fact that nobody else on the bus did something to help the couple.

I probably would end up hitting them in that situation, especially when you're stuck with no where to go...although with a pregnant girlfriend I'd probably hold back incase one of them has a knife.

So do you assume that most black people do those things? What is the population of your community? How many black people live there, do you seriously think that most of the population would do those crimes? Or is it that most of the people who do those things tend to be of that particular race? Racial profiling (I am not saying you do that) is not only prejudice, but also uneccesary as well. If all groups are dangerous as you claim they are, then there is no need to make generalizations of them, because I doubt that you would pull a gun out on the first white person you see and tell them "stay away" because you think that might be serial killers.

I am a fairly restrained person, and I would have had trouble not decking a few of those girls.

This is absurd and pretty much racist.. There are certain cultural trends yes, but the guiding figure for crime has to do with poverty.. Something blacks are in more than any other racial group in the United States.
