When i got mine i got to school late because of it and nobody cared and it was great. I did however accidentally leave the car on because i was too excited about being done with the test and the instructor wasnt overly happy about that. Other than that though no screwups and i was driving before you know it.

Forgot to bring my drivers license, so Dad had to race back, grab it, passed easily. Incredibly boring. Except the instructor raged at me for riding bang on the limit instead of being a few Km's under.

I don't even have my learners' permit yet. :(

I guess driving hasn't really interested me. I don't really mind taking the bus and train around.

Well, it took two attempts for me. The first time, I did everything just fine, until I had to return to the DMV, and I made an error that was severe enough for the instructor to flunk me. I tried again the following Monday, and started making little mistakes right out of the gate. When I pulled up to the DMV, I thought I flunked again, but it turns out, I just passed with an 83. I was ectastic. :D

I checked in at the license office, then the tester and I got in the car, drove around a while and did some stuff, and she was like "ok you passed" and I was like "yay". The only thing I totally blanked on was what to do when parked on a hill (turn your wheels so you'll bump into the curb).

That's about how it went down.

I weave through traffic like I'm getting paid for every car I cut off without using my directional. It's horrible. My favorite, though, is the double lane change on the highway... with no signal ;).

Exciting, huh?

Well, I pulled up to a stop sign to make a left. The car on the intersecting road traveling to the right of me put on his left blinker, and started to slow down. Since he was slowing down, I had time to make my turn so I took it, but the instructor failed me because if the other driver changed his mind and resumed his initial speed, it would have been an accident.

I passed with no marks taken off. Funny story about my friend though. Where I live, if we lose 50 points, then we fail the test. My friend somehow managed to lose 150 points, three times above the limit....You know you're stupid when...

I came. I sat. I waited.

Then I got my license. Went home. Then saw they had me listed as "female."

So I went back, and ended up waiting even longer than I originally had just to get a single letter changed. :x

Mine was quite hilarious. You know right at the start where he asks you to turn on the signal lights so he can see if everything is working properly? Well my mind blanked on how to turn the signals on and ended turning on the wndshield wipers...

The funniest thing is that he didn't see that, and I had no other problems during the rest of the test and got my license.

Let's see, I rolled into the DMV and waited for a half hour for my instructor. I was sorta nervous about the test because I wasn't familiar with the area, but once I actually got out onto the road it was easy. I made a perfect score. :D

I went to the Florida DMV, walked in, did the test, walked back out with my shiny new license. I didn't start driving for real until about a month ago, kind of pathetic seeing as how I'm one of the oldest seniors in the school.

My test was at 1 pm, my dad took me downtown around 10 am to practice parallel parking for about 2 and a half hours. The test was really easy, the person giving me the test was very young and nice. He kept talking about Vancouver. I messed up the parallel park (even after all that practicing :(), so he let me try it again.

When I went to park at the building he made me park in a no parking zone. I even pointed it out, and he said no big deal, I'll only be parked for a second...which was odd. But, I passed right away so it was good. :) In Alberta, there's a minimum of 70 points you can get taken off, I got 40 off. Most people I know got around 55/60 taken off, so I was proud.

Well, I think I was the last one to take the test before the license bureau closed that day. The lady that I did the test with seemed to be in a hurry, so all I had to do was half of the manuveribility test, and drive around the block for a few minutes. I passed by 1 point, and all was well. Don't worry, I'm a good driver, honestly. ;)

The day i took my test was harsh. When i got to the DMV and waited i saw this big guy in the back cracking jokes on everyone (he was an instructor). Last thing i wanted was a grumpy old lady, but somone was there befor me so i got to take the test with the big guy. I was glad i got him until we got in the car. He went from comedian funny to military style on me. His whole attitude changed and made me even more nervous. At the end he started shooting me with all these negative comments on what i did wrong and made me think i failed, but i still passed so all was good.
