[QUOTE="ThaneKrios28"][QUOTE="jediknight52501"]Star Wars is not a bad idea but a new Terminator Trilogy? hell no.mattbbpl
yea im happy about a new star wars and with jj attached it just got better. i know alot of trekkies hate jj but i seriously dont think sw can get any worse than what lucas gave us with the last trilogy

Say what they will, but Star Trek needed a change similar to what was made in order to remain marketable.

i wasnt a trekkie growing up but i liked both new films in fact they both got me into watching tos and tng and besides no matter what franchise it is your always going to have fanboys piss and moan about something

Yeah, I didn't mean to give the wrong impression - I like the older style (TOS, TNG, and the previous movies) as well as the newer movies. I'm just saying that the older movies were gradually descending into unmarketable territory. The series was forced to reboot and target a wider audience or face becoming commercially obsolete.

I'm really hoping that this will take place in the post apocalyptic, plasma shooting, terminator run, human endangered species, dark, run down world with streets full of human skulls getting ran over by huge terminator tanks that all Terminator fans have been wanting since watching the first few seconds of T1.

I can see it just being another time travel one like the 1st 3.

Geez. Hollywood running out of ideas? Recycling is starting to sound like a bad word.

whats next they going to reboot Titanic. Man this is why I stick to foreign films mostly now. Hollywood isn't about pushing cinema and giving people new stories and worlds. Its about recycling and rebooting classic films that don't need to be it. I understand we have better technology and can do cooler stuff but that stuff was amazing in its own time.

I believe they are sending a terminator back in time to prevent anything after the second movie from being done.

Unfortunately Edward Furlong makes the second movie near unwatchable for me.
