But what about the pro-life argument that children should be raised by the parents?

I heard about this woman whose husband died in Iraq, and she had to go to court to win the right to have his sperm. I'm more intrigued than disturbed by this phenomenon. The kid's life will be a miracle of modern science. It's not like the sperm itself is dead. A living human will be born from living cells. And let's be honest, insemination is a messy process any way you look at it.
AUSTIN, Texas - A judge has granted a mother's request to have someone harvest sperm from her dead son's body, so she can have the option of carrying out his wish to have children.
Nikolas Colton Evans, 21, died Sunday at a Brackenridge hospital after being punched and falling outside an Austin bar March 27.
His mother, Marissa Evans, told the Austin American-Statesman newspaper that he wanted to have three sons someday and had even picked out their names: Hunter, Tod and Van.
"I want him to live on. I want to keep a piece of him," she told the newspaper.

My question is who is going to carry this ball to the end zone?

This is not the first time iv heard of this, I remember some 18 year old guy got in a car crash and his parents decided to extract sperm so he could have kids just like this. It may sound strange but wouldnt you want your family legacy to live on?

Texas or Florida? If it happened outside those two places, you are lying.AUSTIN, Texas - A judge has granted a mother's request to have someone harvest sperm from her dead son's body, so she can have the option of carrying out his wish to have children.
