That feeling when your dad just got promoted

From being a multi millionaire Human Resources Director from one of the world's largest companies to a CTO (Chief Talent Officer) of the parent company and still refuses to pay for your education :(

my granddad is a retired painter with hardly any money yet he's using his retirment savings to help me invest in proper education, mean while my CTO of a dad who out of 160,000 employees reports only to the CEO himself won't offer a cent.

I have no father, I was raised all alone by my teen mom.

My parents are divorced, I've been raised alone my mother with some support of her parents. I talk to my dad a few times a year. not exactly living richie rich lifestyle like him : /Mozelleple112

I don't know what his reasons are, but if I were in his position (God willing I will be someday), then I'd help pay for your education. My parents didn't have the financial resources to pay for school, but what they lacked in funds, they more than made up for in emotional/moral support.

In the end, I took out loans for all of my education - I'm sure you'll be fine if you choose to do the same ;)
