Oh gee, Christianity bashing on the internet. Surprising.
would you rather have it done during the sunday sermon, 'cos i'd be happy to oblige you could be like a travelin show! i'd go to see itto me.. those things don't seem that ridiculous when you consider other things people believe.EMOEVOLUTIONyou mean like in money or the government or the future or what?

What an ignorant hack. "Atheists pray... that they will disappear and get out of the way of humanity's progress." I wasnt aware that every christian who ever lived is completely useless.Bored_Employee
All the ones who are not useless will at least make way for new job posotions and help our unemployment situations. We will manage without them. Go shag an angel for me.

what? I don't follow.
I don't believe in any of those :P All your "statistics" were based on the people of america and I don't know anyone that believes in any of those things (that I know of) :|
Just goes to show the very different way of thinking the USA and the UK have :D

Are you kidding me? Christians have the same intelligence as anyone, they don't need to be replaced.[QUOTE="hi_im_dave"]Good thing to point out, although I'm pretty sure I've heard all of those stats before. Anyway I don't believe in any of it except that I do think that the richest people in the world control everything, not that it's much of a secret. Also I seriously doubt Bush helped to plan 9/11 but I wouldn't be surprised if he decided to pull a pearl harbor. What I mean by that is that many people are skeptical that we already knew about pearl harbor but let it happen anyway to give us an excuse to go to war. Now you;d have to been sitting next to Roosevelt to know if this true but it could make sense on some level. There's also a whole lot of stuff related to 9/11 that the government refuses to spill the beans on which no doubt makes many people, including myself, suspicious. People who don't bother to question things like this are just as stupid if not moreso than the conspiracy theorists. The website has no sources for the stats and claims.

Haha quite true, although there has been evidence that suggests complicity. I honestly can't say that I want to believe that he let thousands of people die so we could go to war, but I think it's also silly to toally rule it out when it did give him exactly what he wanted and there's bits of evidence supporting he may have at least let them slide through.

"Obama is a Muslim
Ten percent of Americans, and more than 20% of Americans in Texas, as well as all the Rascist in both Texas and Florida, believe that Barack Obama is a Muslim.
This belief would almost be okay if those same people did not get on Obama about his radical Christian preacher whose church he attended for ten years. So what is it – Christina w/ a racist preacher or Muslim with a racist complainer?"
I'm sorry but this is funny...calling people racists..Obama is half white too...so calling people "racist" if they dislike him is utterly ridiculous..and he's not Christian..because if he was..don't you think he would have recognized "National Prayer Day"..
Also, the website seems rather Anti-Christian/Catholic...so i don't believe these things really are the "10 most ridiculous things believe in"...
And Obviously whoever wrote that article didn't know that fish live in water...because the world was said to be flooded..so why exactly...would he have to save the fish from water...

Look far enough, and you'll find articles and sites that present seemingly legitimate evidence to almost any conspiracy theory. Let me ask you this: what good is it looking like you were caught with your pants down and got beaten the **** out of, when you could look like a hero who prevented something horrible from happening? Meaning, if Bush knew enough about what was about to happen to possibly prevent the attacks, why not prevent them from happening at the last minute, and expose all of it then? Even if you argue that they were complicit, why cause billions of dollars in economic (and eventually, political) damage, when you could stage it so that the terrorists were MINUTES away from slaughtering thousands? Same thing with Pearl Harbor. Why have your Pacific fleet close to devastated when you could have easily turned the tables against the Japanese and destroyed them instead? Why not take a few years off of the Pacific War and Japan's fighting ability so that you can move on with your broader imperial intentions, if that is what they were really after?!
and he's not Christian..because if he was..don't you think he would have recognized "National Prayer Day"Xx_Hopeless_xXWell, he claims to be Christian, that's really all that matters. How can Americans believe that? Oh shame on America! America! America! America! Some of these stats seem made up [one out of 10 americans believing the moon landing was fake?]. Hemmaroids
That's ridiculous...i could get 10 people from my family together and ask them...and they'd all say "no it wasn't fake"...so i don't believe that is a real statistic..
President Obama is half black. Most racists don't care if the person is half-white. It's the half-black part that concerns them. That was a horribly written article. It insulted a lot of conspiracy theorists, yet the author couldn't spell "Christian". He spelled it "Christina". Also, referring to people who believe President Obama is a Muslim as racist is just pathetic. [QUOTE="Xx_Hopeless_xX"] President Obama is half black. I never said that he wasn't Christian because of that...i said..one would think he would like to gain support from his Christian supporters by taking a few minutes out of his "busy" day to observe a Christian holiday(or whatever you'd like to call it)..

[QUOTE="EMOEVOLUTION"]to me.. those things don't seem that ridiculous when you consider other things people believe.Jandurinyou mean like in money or the government or the future or what? Well...the world ending in 2012 like it was supposed to be ending in 2000 is one. The number of people who think a tree has a face of holy Mary or some other person from the bible. People who think they see/believe in poltergeist. People who think Obama has done nothing in the office for his entire first year but go on vacations. I could go on but I'm just posting the few I know of. But then again, I don't know if those are more ridiculous than the ones posted.:P...
So it's ridiculous because you disagree with the cause? I think perhaps the non-belief in 'man-made', or a better term 'man-assisted' global warming would fit much better into this thread than that. 97% of scientists in recent polls state that global warming today is increasing because of man's influence on the atmosphere via the releasign of greenhouse gasses through use of technology. That would be a public event.Ok well then, why do you think he would not make it a "public event" if he was a Christian...as i have said..i would assume he would like to gain support from Christians..
And it does. No one is calling this into question. Proof of this can be found in the fact that it was quite a lot warmer in the times of the dinosaurs as evidenced through ice core samples and other things. The amount of CO2 in the atmosphere was also much higher. However changes on the level that force mass extinctions have occurred many times in the past as well. These changes are specifically due to the speed at which the environment changes, either through naturual means or cactastrophic means. The human impact on the environment is increasing the rate at which that environment is changing. When you release more greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere it heats the planet thereby releasing more gasses into the atmosphere naturally. It speeds the process up.I believe the temperature fluctuates naturally..
