Looks rather feminine to me.Oleg_Huzwog

The Mustang has always been a popular car for fathers to buy their 16 year-old daughters and husbands to buy their 40 year-old wives.

Gimme back the SVT Cobra R and then we'll talk Ford.

actually...its called single turbo....nice try

ok....they also offer NA V6 engines that offer 300hp

stormtrooper32

WRX STI has dual turbos. Also, HP =/= performance. There are alot of other factors. I would take stock muscle car over stock ricer any day.

STI's do not have twin-turbos.

Ricers? I hardly consider a WRX STI a ricer, although I dont like the look of the new ones. Another huge factor when comparing vehicles is the power/weight ratio, which Japanese vehicles tend to have an advantage in (3rd Gen RX7 FTW!). Anyways, as you can tell, Im not a huge American car fan, but that Mustang don't look half bad.

only 300 hp out of a V8....the japanese are getting 300hp out of 4 cylinders

luamhtrad

Yeah. It's called Dual Turbos. Nice try.

Ferrari is getting over 800hp out of a 6.3L naturally aspirated V12 in the FXX and 508hp out of a 4.3L naturally aspirated V8 in the F430 Scuderia. American SOHC engines are not that impressive... it's technology stuck in the '60's.

Dodge needs an 8.4L V10 to hit only 600hp. Nearly double the displacement of the Ferrari V8 and it's only getting 100 more horsepower. And a Scuderia could rip a Viper to shreds on the track.

Agreed, 0-60 in 3.1 seconds by the F430 Scuderia is amazing

Its fun as hell flooring it in my dads Jetta (0-60 in 6.8 seconds) It would be nuts to get there more than twice as fast.

They could have made it look like a Ferrari, but it's still a Ford, which means that it is still a piece of ****

It's even more fun on a motorbike. You want to go 0-60 in under 3 seconds on a 600cc engine? :D With around 120bhp only.

Meh I don't really like American muscle cars.

For my top 3, I prefer european sports cars, in this order:

1. Brabus (SLR)

2. Lamborghini (Murcielago)

3. Maybach (for the Exelero)
