No, tail does not mean Male genitalia......

SegaGenesisfan

Do you have any evidence to present against all of what I have provided?

- It is described as something that "extends like a cedar".

- It is sandwiched in between descriptions of the creature's loins and testiculorum.

- The concept of a tail and of the male sexual organ have the same linguistic origin.

- In German, a sibling language of English, "tail" is used as a euphemism for the male sexual organ.

In light of all that information, all you have to say is "no"? Do you not have anything more substantial?

Its actually in a good ammount of the bible, its just so ignored, I mean I remember reading deuterodomy, I never saw the part about the dragon, or maybe I just did not descern very well. Anyways, it was a shocker that the dr dude went to jail, but that does not make anything he said suddenly false.............................. By any means, he sinned, just like even David did. Jeeze, I almost hate reading the bible, because there is never this really well rounded character, they all end up doing stupid things. ITS SO ANNOYING! Though, no one ever got in trouble with god because of tax evasion >_> Why, seriously, why....

anyways http://www.fairrosa.info/dragon/bible.html, now I am focusing on the old testement.

13 Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: Ex. 14.21

thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.

See, this is an act, a verb, and action, they did something to a dragon.

Now, its obvious that the bible knew about dinosaurs, so does anyone really have an explanation.... I mean you can say, they dug up bones, but I am pretty sure if thats all it was, they would not of used dragon bones with such depiction. And their would be historical text mentioning digging up bones. Though I could be wrong about that.

I know its kind of a tough sell, since we dont see them, but I would hope you would check out the videos, because int he video he said that at least 20,000 people have reported incidences. But, since people dont believe they exist, they dont even listen, because of BIAS.

Wait, I win, even if it is true, the dinosaurs dick must of been as huge as a cedar >_> which means its actual tail logcially is going to be bigger, and the body of course. This deserves this

That takes so much imagination, lol. To think the authors of the bible would describe a dino dick as big as a cedar, is laughable, dude, i am going to laugh so much.

Why not? They describe Egyptian penis to be as big (and copious in orgasm) as that of horses.

Even If the Loch Ness monster existed, it couldn't be a dinosaur they were exclusively land animals.

No, dragons are confined solely to the KJV and are, as I said, simply the result of the translators having no idea what some words meant so they stuck in mythological creatures.

anyways http://www.fairrosa.info/dragon/bible.html, now I am focusing on the old testement.

Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: Ex. 14.21

thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.

No, no they didn't.

First, "thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters" is not in Exodus; that's in Psalm 74:13.

Second:

"It was you who split open the sea by your power; you broke the heads of the monster in the waters." (Psalm 74:13, NIV)

The word is not "dragon", but "monster" - tanniyn. The KJV translators flat-out just stuck in their own interpretation of what this word meant - theirs is not even a translation at all! Furthermore, the word used here in the Septuagint is drakonton - in other words, serpents.

There is no evidence whatsoever that the Hebrew in this verse referred to a dinosaur.

But, since people dont believe they exist, they dont even listen, because of BIAS.

SegaGenesisfan

...No, I think it has a lot more to do with the fact that the translators of the King James Version were just making crap up.

SegaGenesisfan

Erm, it's called "hyperbole" - exaggeration for effect, a literary device used repeatedly throughout the Bible. The writer wished to describe it as large and hard, and that's exactly what he did.

It's okay, you only reminded me of an already present wound. o.0

...This is also one of the reasons I never bring up the possiblity of dinosaurs in the Bible anymore. Whether they are dinosaurs or not, I do not know. ...but I don't really want to think about it. :o
