Avengers was decent enough, but kinda forgettable. Spiderman was rubbish.
Haven't seen TDKR yet.

The Avengers movie had some of the best super hero fighting I have ever seen (I haven't seen TDKR yet).
That being said, the Avengers story had little depth (yes, I read the story analysis of how Loki created a win-if-he-loses scenario) and was kind of boring save for the action sequences. Maybe the extended DVD release will enhance it.
I rewatched the first two Batmans. They age quite well IMO

Isn't it a little bit... uh, fast to say that? They're not that old.
7 years is old enough in my book. And check out the letters 'IMO' after what you bolded
But the final x men trilogy movie came out around the same time and that is still one of the most technically advanced movies to watch, so it isnt that old.I found Rises more enjoyable but don't think the two are comparable in terms of quality. They're two different movies of different genres (one is sci-fi action while the other is action-drama), although it is arguable that the two are based on prominent comic book series therefore could be compared in that regard. To me it hardly matters since the two are undeniably fantastic and enjoyable.
The Avengers
I actually didn't enjoy TDKR as much as I thought I would. I felt that it was poorly paced and didn't do a good job of fully explaining Bane or Talia. Not to mention the ending was annoying with the reference to a certain side kick.
