i dont read much but i found a series that made me read day and night. have you heard of it or read it?

the book is 'Twilight'. it is written by stephenie meyer and is freakin awesome. it is about a girl who moves to washington and sees a guy who is the most beautiful person alive. its weird when he actually is attracted to her. but then she finds out he is a vampire and some crazy s**t goes down. and the dialog is soooo romantic and passionate. the vampire, named edward, says some stuff that is SO romantic it makes me wanna be gay for him, no offense to anyone lol.

if you havnt read it, and you wanna be into a book that is passionate and exciting, go get it.

there is a movie coming out in december about it, also called Twilight. here is the move link. READ THE BOOKS

She moves to Forks, Washington because her mother was staying home with her while her new husband was around playing Baseball and Bella wanted her mother to be happy with him so she moved in with her father.... Bella is mysterious to Edward seeing as the fact that he cant read her when he can read everybody else, not to mention her blood smells delicious to him.

But yes, the Twilight series is amazing, Ive read all of them atleast 10 times and I simply cant wait till Breaking Dawn is released. Stephanie Meyer is amazing writer and the characters are beautiful. Just the right blend of action and romantics.

I'm willing to bet the Twilight series WOULD be amazing to me, but I'm afraid to say that dozens of overly-obsessive and creepy fangirls at my school have ripped my hopes of ever even trying to read it. Sorry =/

But the best book/s I have ever read are American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis, Shogun and King Rat both by James Clavell, and Snow by Orhan Pamuk.

C Du F is OK. Halo novels, Marine Sniper, Ice Station, Ghost, Shooter, Deep Storm, Starship Troopers(classic), and Into The Looking Glass(just read, its really cool) are some good ones. The rest of my books are in my closet(got so many).

As far as book series go, I prefer Harry Potter and Cirque Du Freak to Twilight, but Twilight is a good series too.

Dune series (Frank Herbert; the ones by his son, Brian Herbert, are entertaining but lack the mystique of the originals)

Ender's Game series

Red Storm Rising (Tom Clancy)

Slaughterhouse Five (Kurt Vonnegut sp.)

Those are my favorites of the top of my head.

I love the twilight series. I can't wait until Breaking Dawn comes out. I'm kind of skeptical on the movie.

House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski. I've never had a book make me cripplingly scared of the dark and then only a few days later completely rid me of that fear.

6 months ago I would agree, but speaker for the dead was such a fantastic book.

Now I'm not sure.

well, I havent read the Shadow series, but Speaker for the Dead was simply amazing. The whole concept of the pequino culture, their life cycle, the colony on that planet...really amazing stuff. Almost makes me want to have my funeral in that ****
