would you agree with me that the most important fight in UFC history is the upcoming fight GSP vs Diaz? This is going to be a nuclear bomb

Hell no without a doubt the most important fight in UFC history was Forrest Griffin vs Stephan Bonner in the Ultimate Fighter season 1 finale.

BTW GSP is out indefinitely with a knee injury and Diaz is fighting Condit for interim welterweight championship. Winner will face GSP to unify both belts.

It's not the best but my favorite is Cro Cop vs Pat Barry from UFC 106 I think? Cro Cop broke his orbital socket or something and fought through 2 and a half round pulling out some crazy kicks.

I was watching the UFC Primetime for Diaz vs. Condit. And even though that is an interesting fight. They way they are building up Diaz is simply amazing. And splizing GSP in there as well is making me think the DIAZ vs GSP fight might just very well be one of their biggest fights ever. I haven't been excited to see GSP fight in years. He is always so boring. But him even mentioning how he truly feels inside about Diaz makes me at least take a little bit notice for this one.

Barry broke his hand and foot in that fight, too. That's why he couldn't finish Cro Cop. Also, did you see Barry vs. Cheick Kongo?

That probably increased the UFC's popularity and MMA as a whole. I liked the Liddell/Couture/Ortiz rivalry.

Most important fight in UFC history: Bonnar vs Griffin, in all senses of skill and technicality it was pretty crap just a good ole fashioned brawl but there has been better brawls since then, it was most important because it got alot of the uneducated and still uneducated fans into the sport in america that just wanted to see slugfests.

Best Fight in UFC history: Hendo vs Shogun, dam that was good, these guys should have met back in Pride but at 139 it was awesome the fight went everywhere for 5 rounds.

Oh and btw Brock Lesanr is retiring now guys after getting his ass destroyed by Overeem a true mix martial artist.

That was one of the most thunderous ko's i've seen in a long time. In a lot of fights, you see a ko and it doesnt look like the punch was that hard. Then you watch a replay and can see that it was. This one needed no replay.

Silva doesn't want to move up weight class from what i've heard. Silva vs GSP sounds more realistic if Silva beats Sonnen and GSP beats Diaz. Jones is probably gonna fight Evans

And Anderson is as big as half the guys at LHW, hes been ducking the guys that can beat him at LHW for years if he faces Jones he will be destroyed, Jones will wrestle him to the ground worse than chael and submit him or elbow the F#ck out his face.

Silva has fought at LHW before and he's pretty big for a middle weight. If he's going to change weight classes he's going up not down. If he does he'll find that he won't be able to wrestle some of the bigger guys as well and I could definitely see him get his **** pushed in. As for the thread, I loved seeing Randy Couture come out of retirement and defeat Tim "the worst heavy weight champion ever" Sylvia.

Because he says he doesn't need to. He says jiu-jitsu is useless and he never worries about his opponent or thinks about anything. He just fights and wins. Sure he talks a lot of s*** but he will still be in trouble if he doesn't learn some jits. Jiu-jitsu is all about being versatile and baiting people into submissions. His way of breaking out of one submission might be the how he is going to be reversed into a different submission and with no jits experience he isn't going to see that coming.

This fight will never ever happen.

The UFC wants to keep Jones as the Heavy Weight Champion for as long as they can and they also want Silva to stay put as the Middle Weight Champion.

Why? Because they're the two biggest names in MMA.

Lol? Come on dude, ducking, really? How can you duck fighters that aren't your weight class, he also moved up and destroyed a former champion for fun. The whole "he's too big to fight at his weight class" doesn't fly. Anthony Johnson, being the best example.

On topic, best UFC fight so far, is Henderson vs. Shogun.

No, I said that because 1. You thought GSP was fighting and 2. You think this fight is bigger than any other title match. For arguments sake let's say Diaz beats Condit and the title fight will be GSP and Diaz. If GSP wins, Diaz is just another name on his list. If Diaz wins, he ends an era - but that would be no different if someone else beat GSP. It's just another title fight. Bones is the UFC poster boy now.

I was talking about GSP VS DIAZ. I wasn't talking about CONDIT VS DIAZ, and it's up to me if I think it's the best fight in UFC history whether you agree or disgree with me. I am entitled to stick to my opinion nooby.

Its simple he doesnt want his legacy tarnished by fighting guys that would actually pose a problem, and if you think the Forrest Griffin fight is any indication of what he;d do at LHW then your an idiot. Forrest is slow, gets rocked easy and prefers to technically strike even tho hes sloppy at it, Anderson is one of the best technical strikers in the business and Forrest trying to strike with him is just so stupid, get Anderson to fight guys like Rashad, Davis, Thiago Silva or Jones and he will get destroyed by them. No he prefers to fight at MW where he has a reach and size advantage over just about everyone, not to mention 3/4 of his fights have been perfect for him stylistically.

Well, the most rewarding fight for me has been...

Rothwell vs Hunt. Hunt UFC Champion 2013.

Thankyou for mentioning this gem of a fight, Mark Hunt was just brilliant, it was great seeing him actually do stuff on the ground.
