John Woo is the greatest action director of all time. Just check his pre-hollywood work.

Some of my IMDB 10's worth mentioning.

Hard Boiled

City of God

American Beauty.

LOTR:ROTK

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (*yes, this is the best one)

Platoon

Seven Samurai

Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Heathers.

And my personal favourite of all time.

Commando.

I felt that way after seeing Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction, 40 Year Old Virgin, Donnie Darko, Little Miss Sunshine, and most recently, Grindhouse.

quiglythegreat

Donnie Darko is overrated. Entertaining, but overrated.

I don't know. I hear this question all the time and I can never have a solid answer. Sure, there is The Godfather and Shawshank Redemption but I don't know if those films are the best of all time. I do love them and they are up there but I always have trouble pinning down. Films like Goodfellas are also up there. When I get pinned in a corner about my favourite movies, I always come up with this 'answer'. I can never decide.

Personally I didn't like the Godfather movies. 1 was good but not two or three. If you read the book you would understand. Godfather part 1 and 2 are completely made up by francis for copolla. The book was actually just Godfather1 and the flashbacks from godfather 2. Thats it. I hated number too. I don't want to see the mafia with drama, drugs, and failing. and american **** wifes yelling thatthey arent treated fairly (Kay adams) andyways.

Fight Club is my all time favorite movie.

Horrible, horrible movies. Forrest Gump I have to freaking crusade against because for some reason people refuse to look at that movie with any seriousness at all and it's supposed to be serious. The movie is as stupid as it alleges Forrest to be.
