dude you dont seem to get the fact that rap isnt always about beer, drugs, and whores it can be about growing up in tough times and life on the streets also three six mafia WON AN OSCAR that is a huge accomplishment especially when it beat out a tough crowd in 2005!

me and my friends anyday could sit down together with a computer, write some rap lyrics and make some music, and in a month have a rap album. If we wanted to make a rock album it would take months to years to get good at the drums, and then write lyrics and make good music to go along with it. You know there's a difference between gangster and "gangsta".  "Gangstas" are the people who sag their pants and stuff.  Gangsters are the ones you are refering to, the mafia.  The ones that wore suits and killed people with Thompson and stuff. Gangsters were from 1920's-40's.  "Gangstas" are the ones around now.  At least this is my understading of it.
