Well, I hate the original version of Mississippi Queen, but I actually sort of like the Ozzy cover of it, so that's quite an accomplishment I suppose.

I like Johnny Cash's cover of "Hurt" by NIN, but that probably because I hate NIN and because Johnny Cash > life.

Also, I liked Ozzy's cover of "In My Life" by The Beatles, even though The Beatles' version was obviously way better.

Sorry, no, his voice has nothing on Frannk Black's.

I would say No Quarter by Tool. I forgot what I was originally going to say, so that will suffice.

I'm not completely sure, but I guess holy diver by killswitch engage or land of confusion by Disturbed.stedtfeld

I heard both of these songs live...on the same day :o It was orgasmical xD Both are amazing, but I don't think either is my favorite...Disturbed's cover of Shout is excellent too, but I still don't think that's my favorite... I absolutely love Apocalyptica's cover of Enter Sandman... I guess that has to be it...

On terrible covers, Fergie also did a cover of Barracuda :/ It was awful... And Motorhead's cover of Enter Sandman is the worst excuse for a song I've ever heard in my life :o

EDIT: Korn's cover of "Another Brick In The Wall" is worth an honorable mention xD

Rock On The Range 2008. It's in Columbus, Ohio, this was the second year that they had it. It's a two day rock event, which two stages. They have one stage inside the stadium for all the biggest bands, and a stage outside for the smaller bands. I ended up only getting to stay for 1 day, but it was freaking amazing. I saw Finger Eleven, Shinedown, Killswitch Engage, Serj Takian, Staind, Disturbed, and Stone Temple Pilots, which was STP's first concert in 8 years after breaking up ^_^

Yeah, the original is more up-beat and "pop" sounding, if I'm thinking of the right song... the cover is better though.
