I'd say 1930's to 1950's,
I mean it had everything, and people were nicer to each other then, they truely were the greatest generation.

Not to mention a world war and a holocaust and the first time humanityused atomic weapons. Those were the days.
exactly, but those times made people value what they had more and respect and help one another, these days too many people have no respect for one another or life and winge about the slightest problem and wont even work.[QUOTE="sonofsmeagle"]

Humanity tried to wipe out an entire group of people and we dropped atomic bombs on civilian cities. These facts conflict with your above reasoning.
Its common practive to look back and think 'things were better back then' however its not usually the case. Things get pregressively better as time goes by but its difficult to see.

Yes, plus it was a wonderful era if you were Black or Japanese in the U.S. right?...must of been peaceful.
So you're also wishing to have a 100 year life span! That's cheating. Narrow it down. :PI would have loved to have seen all of our technology evolve. 1900-2000

^Yes, but knowing the things you and the world know now, would you still prefer an older time period?ZumaJones07
Yes, the 40-50's, in America. Ya know living the American dream, earning big with my future knowledge, while telling my wife not to smoke that poison and put lead on her face.
[QUOTE="sonofsmeagle"]Nice unless you were Japanese or Jewish........NO it just means nice guys finished FIRST in those days now its all the other way.....I'd say 1930's to 1950's,

I'm sure the 80's would've been nice, because back then we weren't aware of the environment, that saves us a lot of trouble.

You just said Japanese and Jewish peoples are not nice! :x
:P
I'm extremely happy with all the technology we have in today's world.
But if I would want to live in a different time then it would be the time of the vikings. I would love to experience the fear of sheild wall and becoming War Lord (Doubt I would though). But that would be cool
The people of the 1930s to the 1970s were by far the greatest generation that ever lived. I mean, c'mon, who else can lay claim to mass racism and sexism, wars that killed millions of people and complaining about how their descendants are all so much worse than they are?
I picked "I wish I never existed", but if I had to pick between staying in the present or going back in time, I'd stay in the present.
i cannot think of a good thing to say about the baby boomers, they have caused the vast majority of our current problems and are responsible for all net policies and regulations, lets not even get to the nanny state, i have nothing against the lost generation(WW1) or the greatest generation(ww2).The people of the 1930s to the 1970s were by far the greatest generation that ever lived. 40s or 50s. I don't know why everyone seems to think they were all racist/sexist and whatever. My grandparents weren't/aren't that way, neither are my parents (and both lived in diverse neighborhoods). Maybe it was that way in the south, but I would've wanted to live in the norhtheast...

Nice unless you were Japanese or Jewish........ What? If anything the Japanese where the perpetrators. You even know what they did to the Chinese?yeah, i can't see how the answer to this question is never the present.. assuming you're not living in a post-apocalyptic zombie-fest.comp_atkinstomorrow for the win, today sucks, last nights sleep sucked, but tomorrow will be awesome

Yeah but Japan did much worse things to the Chinese than putting them in internment camp. You never talk about the Chinese but that was almost another holocaust in itself.
