The pushup imo, at the ends of my workouts pushups are always such a challenge and after a few sets my entire upper body just swells up and they feel like a satisfying workout by themselves. Im looking for more workouts like these so what does it for you?

Nah man. Hitting refresh button, after a few hours of sitting on my ass it becomes one hell of a strain, thats when you feel the burn and know you're getting one hell of a workout.

I usually focus on cardio rather than strength training, and I usually use the elliptical for that. It manages to shed fat and tone up parts of my body without being too strenuous, so it works for me.

None. Balance it out. Cardio one day, major muscular endurance the next; repeat. Abdominals, forearms, and walking every day. Here's mine: Sunday: jumping rope/jacks, frog kicks, obliques, forearms Monday: walk, crunches, reverse crunch, forearms Tuesday: cardio machines, weight machines (lats, pecs, deltoids, triceps), frog kicks, obliques Wednesday: run up/down a bridge, forearms, crunches, reverse crunches Thursday: cardio machines, weight machines (lats, pecs, deltoids, biceps), frog kicks, obliques Friday: forearms, bike 14miles, crunches, reverse crunches Saturday: pull-ups or push-ups, forearms, frog kicks, obliques, run up/down a bridge If I miss a day at the gym (machines), I'll use free weights (squats, bench press, biceps curl, deadlift, military press). People think they don't have time... excepting the walk and bike ride none of these take more than 30mins.

Either squats or deadlifts is my favorite exercise.

I guess that's because you are a lady, you shouldn't do much weights or resistance excercises otherwise you end up looking like She hulk IMO the best work out is abs and cardio, after a few sessions you feel it working and the good thing of cardio is that you end up tired, but you can still continue the next day, unlike weightlifting where you need to recover

I think so too. I'd like to start trying some sort of strength training down the road, but I'm waiting to slim down enough first. Everything in moderation :P

it is nearly impossible for females to become 'she-hulks' unless they take some sort of growth hormone.
No offense to anyone, but generally speaking the female body doesn't produce enough testosterone encourage muscle growth on a large enough scale.
Worse case scenario you get toned, and stop before becoming a hulking behemoth. Even if you were a guy, you certainly wouldn't become beastly overnight. =P

Anyways, my vote goes to the pull-up.It works your arms and your back, it's also more versatile than the push-up, as you can lighten the weight by including a chair.
It's also easier on my wrists, which is important since I have wrist issues.

My workout typically includes sitting on my butt for over 50 percent of my day and typing. I hardly go out anymore and I don't exercise. It wears me out I tell you

Taking my triple-patty hamburgers out of the bag and putting them on my plate. I can't WAIT until they make a machine that does it for you.

Squats best exercise imo. Push-ups are meh i prefer 4 way shoulders to work out the arms and 3 way press to get the chest going, after that deadlifts are fun along with back extensions and planks
