"That God cannot lie, is no advantage to your argument, because it is no proof that priests can not, or that the Bible does not"
- Thomas Paine
My first point is I agree with the bible carrying minor hate mesages that can be carried out in the wrong way by many christians. My second point is I am in no way a christian. My final and main point is that the Bible isn;t a joke, in western civilisation it is the reason most of us aren't running around raping and murdering each other. Laws come from a heavily christianised (pardon the term) mindset, and so most of the laws you live by come from the bible. So in that respect the bible is very useful.
If you don't agree with me in taht respect, you need to understand, I'm not saying that you are a christian, I'm saying morals that you have gained from your parents, that have come from their parents, that have come from their parents and so forth have come from a time when Christian morals were more important, and so they have made their way down to us. So in that respect, the bible isn't a joke.
fine, don't believe, go to hellPunkytrd
Well if I went to paradise, I'd probably ask God if he can send me to Hell because I don't like tyrants. (Assuming everything is as described in the Bible)

Good more chairs for me then, no skin off my nose if you don't want to live eternally in heaven
Being gay is a sin, it goes against nature, that's not to say it doesn't happen because it does but it shouldn't be endorsed. As for the bible being a joke, it sure is.

I could argue that homosexuality doesn't goes against nature, because it's been observed in other animal species. But I won't go there. But lets run under the assumption that being gay isn't natural. You have now formed the statement that "If it's not natural, it's a sin". So, let's look at all the other sins of mankind. Let's see, television, computer, todays food, cars, medicine, phones, and so on. None of those are "natural". Anyone who's taken part in using those are now sinners. Do you now stand by your argument that if it's not natural, it's a sin?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_animals_displaying_homosexual_behavior Against nature, is it? I suppose you may have meant "against the norm." The norm here is sexual reproduction, but that is so trivial that homosexuality doesn't deserve the harsh connotation of the word 'sin,' especially in respect to some vague authority that is inanimate.Being gay is a sin, it goes against nature, that's not to say it doesn't happen because it does but it shouldn't be endorsed.

You know full well you can do a quick google search and come up with further websites providing information.

u dont just wake up when day and decide ur gay..well you do(puberty) but its genetics, ur born with it, anyone who disagrees is a complete retardPandaSlayer
I take that back, it's not a sin, but just because you're born with it doesn't mean you should be allowed to live. If you live never to have offspring you might as well be dead...

What? That's your opinion. You know, if your only meaning in life is to reproduce, then so be it. But don't assume that is everyones purpose in life.
Surely the fact that the Bible states homosexuality to be a sin tells us that it was written entirely by man. Why would an all-loving deity hold such prejudices?luke1889I don't think He does. I'm a Christian and i think its a sin but i believe that homosexuals can still go to heaven.
