I've pre-ordered my midnight release tickets. :DShadowsDemonI'm definitely paying to see this in theaters, but I'm waiting a week or two after it opens. My days of going to midnight showing are long done. WAY too crowded for me.

[QUOTE="RandomWinner"]I do. I can't really watch Batman 89 now that I've seen his vision.I'm so happy Nolan did Batman the way it should be done, and I love that nearly everyone agrees.

[QUOTE="thebest31406"]I think it's wild how most of the folks here believe that Bale is a better Batman than Keaton. How can anyone like that grumbling voice of his?TheShadowLord07
Well Batman's voice has been described in the comics as being gutteral, almost animalistic.
i seen the agrument being made but how can you can tell batman grumbles in a comic book[QUOTE="TheShadowLord07"]

I always here Conroy's voice when reading the comics, unless Batman is pissed, were he sound more animalistic.[QUOTE="RandomWinner"]I do. Ok, let's vote on the best Batmobile.
1966
1989
Batman Forever
Batman and Robin
Batman Begins/The Dark Knight

Now that's a good question. They should give Joel Schmuacher another shot. :P It might turn into a musical. :p[QUOTE="mitu123"][QUOTE="Travo_basic"] Who would want to follow Nolan's footsteps?Avian005

I watched The Dark Knight last night and will watch Batman Begins today, can't wait for this one. Also, can't wait to see what Nolan does with Superman, but that's another thread.:P

Nolan will do superman? Wasnt the 300/watchmen/Sucker Punch director (Zach Sneidjer or somethin) doing the remake already?
I read it was Nolan... Maybe I'm wrong.[QUOTE="4dr1el"][QUOTE="DeadMan1290"]

I read it was Nolan... Maybe I'm wrong. No, he's producing and writing it.as much as I like the Tumbler (it's a cool vehicle after all), it's just not the batmobile. 89 version is the best imo.

I did hear that Chris Nolan wanted his brother to direct Man of Steel, but WB passed on that. Still not entirely sure if he's part of the writing team or not though.[QUOTE="Avian005"]

Agreed, it just seems perfect.Gotta go with the Tumbler. While it's not the Batmobile, I've never been particularly fond of any version of the Batmobile. And the Tumbler just seems to fit this version of Batman much more than a jacked-up sports car would.
worlock77
While I'll always maintain that The Animated Series had the perfect Batmobile, only the Tumbler would mesh in with Nolan's version of Batman without feeling real out of place.

David Goyer's the writer. But, I doubt their will be another Batman movie in the next 5 years.OMG, there's a director for the next Batman movie!

I agree with this statement but only because Nolan's universe is based on complete realism unlike the rest of the Batman films that focus more on combining silliness and seriousness.
