If it saves money, I think it would be a good idea. If you're allowed to donate underwear to a thrift store, do that.needled24-7
There are somethings that just should never be donated...underpants falls into that category..

lol i agree
This sounds like some kind of Seinfeld episode...
Buy about 20 packs of the underwear, and then every 5 weeks or so, do a load of laundry that is just your underwear. It'll last you the rest of your life!

I ran the numbers (cuz im a nerd like that)...and It defintly is cheaper to just buy 3 packs of 5 than do 15 days worth of dirty underpants. SoI am thinking on buying like 50 pairs at a time...then every week throw away the old pairs and when 50 is done...rinse and repeat
This is your decision of a lifetime???acviper123

Underpants are a key ingrediant in the preservation of the very core of society..its what seperates civilized man from primitive man. So yes...its a life altering decision...and if you dispute this claim then you sir have never worn a good pair of underpants. Good day...
Recently I found a store that sells the kind of underwear I get (boxer briefs before you ask) cheaper than if I do a full load underwear laundry....Basiclly my question is. ShouldI just keep buying new pairs or just stick with the old wash/reuse cycle I have been doing? I do love saving $$ but I would have to constantly throw out old underpants..opinions?Legacyoftain
Think of all the underwear pollution... Some fish is going to get cought in the taut elastic waistband of those form fitting jockys, that were carelessly disgarded, and suffocate. I cannot advocate your decision. Currently we are dealing with excess carbon monoxide years from now it will be none other than single use jocky boxers.

One can only hope for a future where that is the least of our worries

Are they still carrying around the handkerchief bag on a stick, eating beans out of a can?
You may save money, but you're killing trees. Or something. Seriously, at least send the underwear to a 3rd-world country or something... wastefulness is bad.Funkyhamster
I once overhear a co-worker say money was made from cotton or so I heard. He was standing no less than 5 feet from me. :|

It is, or at least partially. I think it's also partially made from silk, though I might've made that up.Please Log In to post.
